when bullguard detets a virus it says its bagle
something like that
i have it set to delete any virus it finds
AVG also came up with a trojan a few times, and i healed it
i updated AVG but it still does not catch as many viruses as bullguard does

Do you mean Beagle? That's a web-propagated worm. I should have known from your original post. *Shakes head* I warned you guys about that one. Are you using an email client such as Outlook or something Wolfy?

@Esq, there is one called Bagle In your thread I posted a link to a worm war article that listed it. A different worm, Hmm.

Beagle is another name for Bagle! At least, it used to be; back with version "A". I'll use "Bagle" from now on. Wolfy, I think that you may have a parasitic virus/worm. Tell me, do you have a process called "winupd.exe" running currently?

Taw's been drinking again. Not a good sign...

Me too. From the same people perhaps? Trying to get their own names in the net-history books? Do they even have such history books? Meh. I hate viruses, and whoever takes it upon themselves to write one.

i dont have XP, so i cant see the actual processes
i looked at the "ctrl, alt, del" menu and i didnt see anything like that
and i looked at msconfig to see the list of things that run at startup and i didnt see that there either

@Wolfy, re do your search, but do an advance search to include Hidden files and folders. They some times hide in those that a regular search does not find.
