Bermuda Triangle

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Bermuda Triangle

Whats this place, whats happening there? Is it alliens? Supernatural forces? or something completely different?

Research Part:

In my theory to tell you the truth, I think its some kind of magnetic field. As all instruments on ships/planes stop working and ships 'fall' to the bottom, and airplanes crash. So there must be something there that makes them go down, and something that dissables their instruments...but what?

What do you guys think?

It's a giant octopus. I've seen it on cartoon network.

Edit: Damn spelling.

I've heard theories of huge carbon dioxide releases from the sea floor rising up, and causing a ship to sink down into it, only for the water to crash down over it and submerge it once the gas has fully escaped.

i heard methane

I thought that the Atlanteans had moved Atlantis there, and were using their technology to assure that they had privacy .

I would add my view, but I do not have enough data to form an opinion. Still, I think that the whole tale has been blown VASTLY out of proportion. Sort of like Nessie.

Freak, sudden temperature inversion Perfect Storms, the Sargasso Sea, El Nino effects, Cyclones, right down to some poor soul's last words along the lines of "So what does this switch do?"

Have you guys all been living under rocks or somthing?
Everyone knows its the aliens fault!

I heard it was gas as well, but how does that explain the planes disappearing?

@ storm yea i thought this was a barry manilow thread as well
there are many theories ;the only thing ive seen any proof of are magnetic anomolies that could affect compasses everything else is just that a theory
and boy there some wierd theories !
ive always thought it was mostly a combination of factors weather sea conditions and magnetic anomilies (with probably a degree of panic helping out when instruments fail)

@ blaze, the methane rises, as it is a gas, and explosive at that, and guess what normally is produced as a by-product of engines? thats right! heat.

explosive gas+ heat = bad

but then again, if its CO2, it will lower the density of the air, causing the aircraft to crash.
