Indy, you mentioned the Thule earlier on, My understanding of Thule is that of a Rune-script thought of by a german in the early years (~1900-1920) of the last century, how would it connect to atlantis??

Oh. Sorry if the heading is unclear. Point is to invite people to talk about the Atlantis or Mu or Lemuria or Thule, etc. All of the legends about pre-prehistoric
civilizations that may have been the mother culture(s) from which we all descend.

Regarding Thule, I find interesting that the German cult "Thule Gesellschaft" believed that it was the source of the "wisdom "of the Aryan race. I wonder where they picked up that idea?

Can't really say much about the gesellschaft. So far all my leads fall back to von Serbottendorf ... is that another fake "von," I wonder. Didn't realize the Thule legend was so new and it doesn't help me that the Thule Society ends up so closely tied to the NDSP... sort of gets in my way if you know what I mean.

So, Taw, your mention of it is to relate what the Egyptian Priest is said to have told C's ancestor is to indicate that the whole story may have been about what caused the destruction of almost all of the Mycenaean cities?

Troy fell around 1250BC and Mycenaean cultures fades away very quickly after that. The Hittite Empire also went through its death throes around that time. And the Egyptians were seriously being threatened by the Sea Peoples.

Could the Egyptian Priest's story be one in which utlimately, Athenians, with the help of new Dorian blood entering into former Mycenaean lands, helped to defeat the Sea Peoples and restore some peace in the Eastern Mediterranean?

Actually, there are theories that suggest the Bimini Road off the Florida Coast, the Canary Islands off the coast of Spain where the Spanish who first landed there found writings and local legends that suggested it.
