im not gonna buy the game unless i know it works
i dont wanna have the game sitting on my shelf while im saving up the money to get a graphics card. I dont have to suffer if i get the graphics card first (i shudder at the thought of an unused game in my house)

ive also got my eye on Halo PC (ive got the demo and love the gameplay better than it was on X-box) and i figured out how to mod that game

I hope you have a decent graphics card and computer. The hardware requirements are VERY steep. That is one of the major criticisms against it. It's a good game though. Remember if you get it, NOT to use AA or AF. It will slow the game down to abysmal levels, and will not make any difference to the visual quality.

AA (or FSAA) is "Anti-Aliasing". It is used to smooth jagged edges in games. AF is "Ansiotropic Filtering", and provides better visual quality in a number of ways. I doubt that a 7200 will be able to handle Halo. People had problems running Halo on 1024x768 and they had 9500 Pros!

well i ran the demo (probably much different than the full version) and it looked fine, the texture came off every once in awhile for less than a second, but the rest was fine

Have you tried a big batlle scene with multiple opponents? THAT kicks the FPS down. Also, how many FPS are you getting?

i cant get a good clean big battle scene cause theres always som1 with 56k, which slow it down, so i cant tell anything else; thats on mp at least
ill have to play the sp demo mission

If you are referring to AoD's above post, it's a 9800 "Special Edition", meaning that they have trimmed down the specs of a normal 9800 to make it cheaper and thus more attractive for an uninformed buyer. Dodgy bastards! I hate when companies do that! There you go, I have criticised ATI! I ain't no fan boy, Taw!
