snow in uk

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Yeah! Where's this now you promised us? I'm at work, and I look out the window to see a sunny day with a temperature of 24C! I'm not a fan of sunny weather but it is nice and clear outside. Birds singing, cars driving past.... *spends next ten minutes rubbing it in* .

oopps - sorry, its been snowing in leeds for about an hour at least i reckon....lol - was modding and shivering. Finally went to get a brew on, noticed the ol white covering outside. Snowing nicely

Means no stars tonight though - but when its clear at some point, go outside and look at the stars/moon.
Nothing quite like a covering of crisp snow, the magic stillness and silence, coupled with a gorgeous clear sky and fantastic view of the stars.......only shame is i aint in the country no more, god damned city lights..

chips, even in the country side, you're not very likely to see many stars in this bloody country

the snowstorm b4 i went to florida was the biggest one in 10 years

Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off the table you always manage to knock something else over?

ff -

for the first time in 17 years we have snow that has stuck

*cough* bull**** *cough*

I've been in kent for almost 3 years now, and we've had snow every year thats stuck. Are you sure we're in the same county mate?

It finally snowed this morning and as predictably as ever the whole country has come to a halt. You'd think they'd have it sorted by now. There are only 4 people in my office today because "the roads are too bad". Yeah whatever, wish I'd thought of that one before I got up this morning

yeah grom, quite sure, the villages around ashford get snow, ashford itself gets rain.

Post Wed Jan 28, 2004 4:20 am

aaah I always wondered what that big black cloud over ashford was all about

Post Wed Jan 28, 2004 4:53 am

yeah, if the rest of the country is freezing to death, we are either drowning, or roasting, like today
