i dont think any (except school ) should be shut down cause of snow
if florida got snow....then i would be afraid

Well, the weather report I saw this morning just before trekking into Uni said it was CURRENTLY snowing in Preston - so the beeb have it mightily wrong,it is glorious here,almost summer -so that means a blizzard tonight (which the beeb also said was happening - or at least going to)

nope in my room, and it bloody well was snowing, cos it was cloudy, and snow was falling from teh sky

@Indy. yet again another area in which we lag behind you Colonials. None of our winters are as bad as those you blokes get in the North-Eastern States, but q literally anything more than a light dusting and the country grinds to a halt; we are ALWAYS totally unprepared for winter.

Especially on busy roads like the M25. One skid = one crash which equalls a long traffic jam.

Snow = several skids in one section of M25 equalls cold boxes on roads...
