This is a genuine attempt to respur some interest in the game, and I don't think flaming him with "Ooh look, SPAM" and "Caps in the Title, not good" is gonna get this thread, or Freelancer, anywhere!

@SpaceNut - Offer to 'host a server for him' and distribute the source code to us MODders, so we can make new missions, etc. Slightly illegal, but FUN! lol j/k, offer to help, you never know.

Strangely enough, I'm not joking, lying, or even bending the truth. This was an exact account of what happened an if you look at my past record, do I look like I spam a lot? No, I will not offer to "host it for him" because A: he could lose his Microsoft Certification B: I DO NOT intentionally break the law (I've never even received a ticket). This guy has at least 2 networks at home (that I know of) and is a Linux fanatic.......go figure. The main points of this post were to vent sheer frustration and to let others know to look around and see if anyone else might be getting similar offers. As for the all caps, can you blame me? I can only surf the net at work on my lunch hour so uploading code from floppies would probably get a little tricky wouldn't it? At home my computer is completely stand alone and it will stay that way for at least the foreseeable future. If I seem to take a while between posts, blame the lack of time and the #%$^%$ flu or whatever it is I'm still getting over (I missed a whole stinking WEEK of work and I Definitely can't spare the money). I've been trying to save up for one of those USB portable memory things but they cost $60-$80 and whenever I hit $20, another bill rears its ugly head. Don't bother suggesting E-Bay, I don't have a credit card and I don't want one either. Time's up, gotta go, thanks for listening to me rant a bit.

That's ok, rant away, we can take it! . I was just having some fun anyway, I LOVE making fun of MS, it is a major form on entertainment. I guess we'll have to see how this "source code" thing plays out.

I took this as offensive to all the people who post proper interesting subjects in here, scientific stuff, discussions about life, things like that. I suppose you are correct in a WAY by saying everything is random, but irrelevant? Its not irrelevent to us, we can usually identify with whatever another guys posted about.

You seem to be defining "spam" as "not about freelancer" or something. Spam here is when you post absolute rubbish or hardly any content in an attempt to piss off people or just to raise post count. Some guys are more open about it, or some, like me, do it subtly
