Gee, who would have guessed that somebody apart from me would create this thread?
. As for me, I attended Melbourne University in Victoria, Australia. I completed an Arts Degree (which I think is referred to as "Communications" (?) in the USA), which I chose for personal interest. I was able to study the good stuff; Piracy, Witches and Witchhunting, Arthurian "History", Celtic History, Medieval European History, Mythology, Philosophy, and heaps of other fantastic (but in practical terms, useless) stuff. I really enjoyed it, but because it is absolutely useless in terms of acquiring jobs, I consider it a bit of a joke. That's why I bring it up occasionally; it is an outgrowth of a family joke that is still going strong.
I also completed a Diploma at Swiburne University of Technology which I finished in 2003. It was in Network Engineering. Mmm, Arts and Networking; they complement each other well don't you think? I'm sure that Philosophy and Medieval History will come in handy when diagnosing servers!
Rock on fellow graduates!
