**TUTORIAL** How to Overclock Your Pentium (Never had an Ath
So has anyone on TLR overclocked before, it's well easy! I might post a tute if people want it!
EDIT 1:
Here it is anyway:
DISCLAIMER: Any damage caused by your coherence to this tutorial are in no way linked to the stupidity of the author

1) When your computer starts up, it will first of all 'count' your MB-RAM, press delete frantically to get into the CMOS/BIOS settings. If you have a password, enter it. If you don't know the password, your screwed, and might as well give up.
2) Go into the Power Settings (or something like that) and look at Memory Frequency (something like that). On Pentium 4 Motherboards (is that politically incorrect

3) Edit this to set the CPU core, and don't worry, that battered old PC100 RAM won't be affected lol

4) DO THE MATH! If you have a 2.4 GHz like me, and want to bump it up to a 2.7 GHz (like me), then change the Memory Frequency (or whatever it is) to 150.
N.B. IMPORTANT: Be warned, overclocking too much will result in your CPU 'tripping', namely locking up at loading, etc. This is the sign that your CPU is too highly overclocked, so reduce the Frequency.
Sorry it's a bit vague, but I don't have access to the college CMOS/BIOS here becuse of password protection.

EDIT 2:
I think an Athlon Motherboard is similar, so don't worry!
