Taw - No, I haven't seen any spreaders around, and I shouldn't need them to do a simple 400MHz speed increase.

WB - You can safely overclock a P4 to 4.1GHz with a compressor cooler. There is an article on Tom's Hardware called "The Ice Man Cometh" (I think) that documents the process.

Edit: Actually, there is an article that was just released from Tom's Hardware about the team reaching 5GHz using liquid nitrogen. It's very interesting. I highly recommend it.

I experimented with freon once and got incredible results but it was, to say the least, overcomplicated and not worth the effort in the long run
