Mythology
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

*sigh* I know who Hermes is you know! I created this thread didn't I?!?
Background on Hermes for you;
Hermes is the god of Travelers, Merchants, Thieves, Gamblers, Athletes, and eloquent speech (I wondered why I liked him so much ). He serves the gods as an aribter and also as a messenger, which is his most known role. The "winged shoes" you refer to are actually "winged sandles" that allow him to fly, and he also has a helmet which allows him to turn invisible.
There. Happy now?
Note: I have always liked Hephaestus; he maybe deformed, but he still got the girl (Aphrodite)!

so if eros was her son, was it Ares who was his dad? or Haephastus?
(the first Greek legend I ever read and is still one of my favourites is Phaeton and the Chariot of the Sun, a much more powerful tale about hubris than the Icarus story. Well told, you really get a strong sense of Phaeton's terror as the Chariot goes out of control.)
Ever read the story of Mithra and the Slaying of the Bull,and his battle with Ahriman?

I'm more intrested in the pseudo mythologies like Elvish, Serpentine and such. I love creating them myself but I find that real world ones don't hold the same feeligns in them though the are very intresting.

There is no Silicon Heaven! But where do all the calculators go ?
You could no more evade my wrath... than you could your own shadow!

That's derogatory comment number four for Alcestis. He just doesn't give up, does he? I think you have an enemy Taw! Are you scared yet?
Alcestis - Do you have anything constructive to say about Mythology?
Taw - I can only remember bits and pieces about Mithra. How about "droning on" for a while and reminding me?
