Monty Python''s Flying Circus

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

@ Spectre - he has blocks on alot of email. Just go to www.respawn.co.uk and register on his forums. Then post stuff. I still ask him questions - and he is happy to oblige in answering. Truly nice guy

Oh - my fav is Palin, not just for his comicness, but anyone seen his programs?

Round the world in Eighty days
From Pole to Pole
Round the pacific Rim (not a porno....)

I loved all of these programs. I think he is a great presenter and dialogue person - as well as his obviuos comic talents.

However, Cleese is a close second, if for no other reason, the incredibly brilliant Faulty Towers (though it has aged badly)

Vivir - to live
ir verb

Yo vivo Nosotros Vivimos
Tu vives Vosotros Vivis (should have an accent on the second I)
El, ella usted VIVE Ellos vivimos

Unless it's irregular. I think "Viva" means "Long live" where as my name means "Hispania lives." Of coarse I'm only in spanish II. -- VH16

Sorry for using the space, but my honor was at stake

Whoever came up with "Mission Commision" should be lined up and shot

My fav is the Knight of Ni in the Quest for the holy grail and form the same movie the scene where the guy gets stuck in a castle with nothing but gorgeous women and he's "resqued" from them

Edit: Damn spelling.

Daft Vader - I am your father.
sS - Noooooooo! I demand a DNA-test.

@Viv

Well. I thought you meant long live Hispania.... as in long live Blood Dragons, as in Vive La France. Sorry. ....er....ummm.... then wouldn't it be HispaniaVive16

@Chips.

I definitely love his "travel" shows. Every once in a while, he'll give the camera one of those side long glances of his. Really cracks me up when he does that.

This is why I'm getting a B in spanish, but it doesn't have the same ring to it now does it? --- VH16

I suck at spanish, but I rule at debate. I'll be wrong, but I'll still win

The same ring in English or in Spanish? I'd say that, in English, you may be mistaken as I had, in thinking that you meant Viva Hispania. I'd say that, in Spanish, you may be seen not to be too good a speaker of the language.

I am only resusitating this thread in hopes that the Spanish speaking doesn't continue except solely in reference to the Spanish Inquisition written by Michael Palin, not to be confused with the historical event of the same name where a lot of people were treated to a free trip to a day spa and never returned.

That is the truth. We have had health clubs around for millenia, everyone used to call them dungeons.

And now for something completely different ... A woman on top--ic ...

Who was your favourite regular of the women? Mine would be Connie Booth, but I know Carol Cleveland was in more episodes than any other lady of Python fame. Still if you want to go for looks only, there were a few one time appearences by bare chested girls!

I always liked the way Carol Cleveland was able to haphazardly lose her garments on odd bits of fallen tree limb or protruding door knob and the like.

@Indy, she was a great actress on a box in a trench too!

I only noticed Connie Booth in Fawlty Towers. Was she pre- or post-Carol?

Connie is in the movies. She is also in a few skits in Monty Python, but she is actually pre-Carol, because she and John Cleese were married previous and had worked together on a several occasions before he ever worked with the others of Python. I own a somewhat humourous skit program Cleese wrote called "John Cleese on How to Irritate People." She was in that, as was Michael Palin, pre-Python.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned the killer rabbit and the "Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch"! That is one of the best scenes in the movie (albeit a predicable one!).

@Esq.

Actually, I did but maybe not in a way that you would recognize it. See page 2.
