@Gromit

Lol. thankfully my gf does the shopping so the fridge is pretty stocked but she did let me have a shelf for four bottles of Wyborowa, 2 tubes of primula and a bottle of Theakstons Original.

Gf? I can see you're head is set for the upcoming nuptials.

@Taw.

Barolo? Until I saw that, I was half able to resist your reverie. Now, I'm stuck on the idea so badly I can taste it! Curse you Taw as I'm not going to see Tuscany any time soon!

I have a beautiful Perussa waiting in my kitchen for Christmas. We drank one bottle before we got back from Italy, couldn't wait! it was wonderful, smooth, silky, full of taste, like drinking unsweetened alcoholic jam.. fantastic.

*Pulls open fridge*

Let's see... 3 gutted sheep on the hook, 6 Beheaded Chicken, Sheep intestine
8 Gallons of Variable fluids, and of course... 1 pound of Ham

In my fridge: lot's of soda and beer. Sandwich spread, several kinds of belony, a chunk of camenbert and so on.

In tstock: candy, bacardi breezers, hot dog sausages and Pringles. You know, I think Pringles' initial intention was to make tennis balls. But on the day that the rubber was supposed to show up, a big truckload of potatoes arrived. But Pringles is a laid-back company. They said "**** it. Cut em up."

*muffles gag reflex* Wait a minute there. Since when are these animals and animal organs on the hook fast emergency foods? Or do you eat the meat in the raw? Ummm. Is the Ham cured, at least?

@Everyone

We celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow with our annual family bingefest. Hope all of you who do celebrate, drive sensibly but otherwise eat and drink insensibly.

To all our friends across the pond - HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Hope you all have a turkey-tastic time

@ locutus the contents of your fridge sounds like the aftermath of a satanic ritual

Post Thu Nov 27, 2003 4:42 pm

All this talk of alcholholic (sp?) drinks makes me think of this...

My mom likes healthy stuff. Nobody eats it usualy, but she buys it all the same. We had some apples sitting on the counter and decided to eat one. However, it had been there so long it fermented! Man was that good! If you ever see some apple wine I highly recomend it

Post Thu Nov 27, 2003 5:59 pm

No it is not a satanical ritual, I just like meat
Ofcourse I bake and fry all of it before I eat it, and yes the ham is cured.

cider is rotten apples, and its made much the same way, aside from the fact it makes you ill, very, very ill
