What were your previous usernames (nicks)?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

@RILMS, I have the first two seasons as well. I can't wait until February to get 3 & 4 on DVD. Then I can sell some of my tapes.

I've noticed a few other Red Dwarf fans on these forums. There is someone who I recently posted in reply to that had a Red Dwarf quote for his sig: "No Silicon Heaven. Then where do all the calculators go?" To stay on topic, I saw that one poster's username is Smeghead. I think I saw an Ace Rimmer or AJ Rimmer when I first started posting.

[Start brief FL reference
I wonder if any one will ever make a Red Dwarf mining ship for Freelancer, it might actually make mining more profitable. [/end brief FL Reference

Is that when they come out? I'll have to keep my eye out for them.

And yes, I saw that sig too, but I can't recal asto who it belongs to.

I remember someone talking about modding Starbug, but not the Dwarf.

MD, it wasn't by choice that I go under Top-Gun on the TLR (and Trek Universie Network), there was another TopGun on both sites before I joined

@steel, "hyperlink" I haven't heard a link called that since grade school (about 11 or 12 years ago.)

@Frobozz, "Don't have any previous. Been Frobozz since 1979. Any one of you know what it's from? " Nope, no idea. Tell us.

Sorry, been away, my this thread has grown!

I got hooked on 'Dungeon' on a PDP-11 in '79. Originally written as a AI experiment by MIT,
a text-only game. Frobozz the Wizard is the semi-mythological character who set up G.U.E.
(Great Underground Empire) Later it adapted into Zork series, but the version of 'Dungeon'
that became 'Zork' did not contain some puzzles and endgame that were in later MIT version.

I was born in the late months of 1978, there was no way for me to be privy to that information. Now I don't feel so bad for not recognizing it.

Well, Zork: Grand Inquisitor just came out in 1997 and the The Zork Collection in 2000 so it's still alive after all this time!

<---- Hey! I'm a Major now!
Actually, I prefered Sqdr. Commander, but TLR didn't ever give me my Squadron! LOL

I was trying to get out of it, but now I just gotta say it ... I'm just not a dork like you, I guess.

Heretic:

What do you mean by that? If looking cool is important, than not looking silly would be too. And to have a purposeful misspelling so as not to recognize the derivitive of the word is silly. Because if people don't see what it's a alteration of then it's just going to seem stupid anyway because they don't get the joke as you misspelled yourself right out of it. Silly.
