Ahem.

Well Sir S, since you insist.......

Since my Cheese couldn't cut it, I jumped leagues and, not wanting to carry on with a losing tradition, I re-christened my players the Murray Hill Diners.

We(I) were(was) pretty successful for five straight seasons before other more pressing matters, like my paycheck, took precedence. I took the league twice and placed second the other three seasons.

Edit: Revised to add bad pun line.

As a mather of fact I like to wear a kilt when its warm. It's a good substitute for bermuda's and shortened trousers. Not to sound a bit overconfident but I do wear
me underwear, because if the kilt went up the size alone would give the surroundings a minority-complex but enough about that.

No, I'm not a clansman. It's actually named after MW4 Clans. Specificly, the Jade Falcons. By the way gromit, *Kneel*

@Indy11, "Since my Cheese couldn't cut it" that was a bad pun line. My friends and I call that a beat down joke. It requires a jab then a smack about the head.

Also Indy11, "Murray Hill Diners." That's not as bad. But what is your obsession with food related teams?

@666Heretic, "Theropissed" what's the story with this one?

@Orillion, have you read my play "The Taming of the Psycho"? Because you're in it. Click the link below.

@Locutus, "As a mather of fact I like to wear a kilt when its warm." I'm speechless. Truth is stranger than satire.

@SD The_Clanner, "No, I'm not a clansman." I know, I was just kidding with reference to Locutus' post just prior to yours.

am I alone in having the same nickname for over a decade?

seriously some of you blokes change ur nicks more than i change my underpants (no pun intended) doesn't it get confusing? i occasionally used to spell mine backwards or make minor changes in spelling but its pretty much always been the same. plus having different ones on the go at the same time for different sites I just can't cope with, must be my brain fossilising or something?

@ Taw,

I've been RILMS for about 5 years. I've been Smirk for 4, and Brian V Smirk for one or less.

But, tecnicaly, Smirk is in RILMS and Brian V Smirk is just an extention of Smirk, so I've had the same nic for a decade, just in diffrent places.

Life: No one gets out alive.

How is that a pun? A pun is when you have one statement and two meanings. You have an analogy which is two statements that are connected by a common similarity.

I remember about maybe six or seven years ago I logged on to Battle.net for Starcraft as Goliath73. That was pretty much the only other significant nickname I ever had. Until Jimmy G popped up into me mind

I didn't do it! My avatar did! I swear!

the pun was "nicks" vis a vis "underpants," nicks being a british colloquialism for knickers.
