my homework

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Ever read Stephen King? try one of his vooks with short stories.

What you have so far kinda reminds me of it...

The lightbulb id from Archie is a good one.

I'd expect the mysterious light to be an introduction to worse things.

I wouldn't be surprised if it enters the nearby nucluar powerplant and explode or something...

Good luck

James Herbert's "The Fog" has the creepiest atmosphere of any book I've ever read.

So how did you get on with your homework?

Move over kimk! I now hijack your thread! Muwahahaha...

<Begin Rant>
My teacher has this crazy idea that this cd she has contains material (homework or test type material) that matches what is in the book. After first seeing this material, I was obliged to tell her otherwise. It contains things that are not evin in the friggin book!!! Not to mention in a totaly screwed up order!

Fortunately the disc got lost. yay. perhaps I get the correct worksheets now?

No

They found the disc

I have just done about 85% of "chapters 3 and 4 worksheets" (the rest is not in the book -_-) What it really was was chapter 3 and whatever else they wanted to ask me about. Fortunately I know my history pretty well. I have not read chapter 4. But I still have to. Before tomarow.

Its a really long chapter.

And I still have my spanish to do

Excuse me while my head explodes in anger *feels more rant coming on* because I TOLD HER that it was the WRONK F'N STUFF!!!!! *breaks things*
<End Rant>

Ooooooh, reviving old threads. BAD BAD BAD.

Oh my look! An F-16 with a *click* missile! AHHHHH!

Jim, you are correct it was an old thread revived by someone who was new and didn't know not to do that. But I give IceFire credit for at least reading some threads and posts before posting, unlike some n00bs.

As for the continuation of an old thread. I did revert it back to topic by asking how the assignment went. So while old, it was completely on topic to know the result of the homework. And now that has been answered somewhat, it can branch off a little to other's homework as Warlord Bob has done.

Or maybe I'm just too lenient with the meandering spectrum for a topic in threads.

@Jim - It had yet to fall off the end of the forum for me (I see 30 days) so I didn't count it as old. I know dredging up old threads is bad, but I feared a lock if I made another on the same topic.

@kimk - American history

Post Tue Oct 21, 2003 1:13 pm

@ bob, i'm fraid you totally lost me there..(no offense to americans, fault lies soley on my pathetic history skills) wat is there to talk about in US history?

Post Tue Oct 21, 2003 5:43 pm

Well, colinization, the revolutonay war, set up of gevernment (took 3 tries you kno) French/Indian war, War of 1812, all the politics of slavery and westward expansion (that was an issue under the Brits too), Politics of new state admission as free/slave state, civil war (whole chapter on that), WW1, WW2, Korean war, struggle vs comunism, space race, etc. A lot can happen in a measaly 200 years
