I think what gung_ho is saying (and what I'm thinking) is that time does exist and that in our universe there is no entity that doesn't have a time coordinate.
Wheter time exists or not is an unnecessary question. On the other hand, the "relevance" of time is a meaningful discussion. For example, time is essential to you, but it has no meaning inside a black hole (at least for a beholder outside it)... Get my drift? All this "time travel" debate is a consequence of misinterpretation of the term "time".
