Alienware

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I'lll stick to "Cheap guys Computers" here in orlando. They are cheap, but good quality computers. probably make an alienware-like computer for half the cost (must love florida.............YOU MUST LOVE IT)

Just to spoil your fun&fantasy: It's 1GB of unbuffered RAM with no ECC, so basically, you're better off with a 256GB Corsair/Winbond/Kingmax/other HQ memory...

Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

I used to have 512Mb DDR 2100+ ram in my computer, I upgraded it to 1 Gb and it made all of the difference in the world.

System Specs:

AMD ATHALON XP 2100+
1Gb DDR 2100
A-I-W Radeon 7500 64Mb DDR
And some other, less important things.

The next thing I want to buy, when i get the money, is a A-I-W Radeon 9800+ 256 Mb DDR.

That would be nice, if they make those with 256mb. I think the AIW series is always lower for some reason.

That's because your 512MB modules ARE buffered, and probably with Error control & correction...
The AIW does many things with average quality. On the other hand, if you have enough free slots, you'll get better performance if you buy separate specialised cards.
