Alienware

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Alienware

Do any of you have Alienware computers? Or do you know anyone who does? If so, are they good computers for gamers? They say that they are, and they have the specs to prove it. I think that once I get a job (yes, I don't have a job, had one last summer, but oh well) I'm gonna save me up some money for one. Plus, their casess look so darn cool: Plus, with their alien ice cooling thinige, I prolly won't have to worry about my computer totally screwing up and crashing in the middle of my games (yes, the only reason I have a computer, for those games)

Alienware comptuers are wicked. They run excellent, great support from the company, easily upgraded, and they have all the newest parts put into their rigs. They also look awesome!

once, very, very long ago we had an atari

Eraser, its true that the Dell rig is the best one they have yet, but you still cant switch out the mother board. The motherboards in their systems still remain locked in place, and you cannot change them.

How much is that dell?

If its more than 800 dollars can someone ship it to me from mexico?

If you looked, it says "starting at 1799 or something like that. Which brings the question--which one's the better deal? Dell's best model/package is 3,589 and Alienware's is 2,625. Dell's has exactly the same except for the video card--ATI radeon 9800, 128 mb, and Alienware's got a NVIDIA Geforce FX, 256 mb, same ram, ~same PCU...Sure, I can never afford either, but it's nice to dream

Not to mention that Alienware computers do not come equipped with a display. That's a separate deal and can bump the price up by anywhere between $400-$2000. Me? I'll stick with my Gateway and plan out my next computer: A Shuttle case with an Athlon 2500 chip and GeForce4 Ti4200.
