Man I sure missed an interesting thread!!

I am only just finished Grade 11, but I have moderate experience in this field.
I have to say the secret to success is to just mellow out. If you get all nervous thinking "is she gonna be freaked out... is she gonna laugh... etc etc" it shows in your body language and that makes her nervous too.

I hope you watched carefully when she replied. "Hee hee hee OK" can mean a great deal of things, depending on her tone and her body language, possibly also the situation.

Did you ask her in front of her friends? that would be suicide, no one reacts well when confronted in front of their friends...
hmm quite the pickle...
Think of it this way.... If she only likes you as a friend, you have 4 more years to change that (provided she's not moving)

If she likes you like you like her then hallelujah!!

and if she doesn't like you she would have run away screaming in horror, and unless I misread your story, thats not what happened, is it?

She was standing still when she replied, looking me straight in to the eyes, talking in nervous voice.
I told her when she was alone, I would not have nerves to tell her in front of her friends.

Nope she did not run away screaming.

Well that was it, last day and she did not say anything (sniffs), I feel so lonely right now. I still live in hope that one day I will meet her again.

Well, you know what "they" say about girls, what happened to the guy who figured women out? he died laughing before he could tell anyone.

im still struggling to comprehend why you didnt just say "will you go out with me?" or something like that instead of WALKING AWAY and WAITING FOR HER TO SAY SOMETHING.

90% of girls wait for the GUY to be forward, you missed ur chance big guy. I suggest you find a way to contact her over the summer, or else she may find someone else or become uninterested if she isnt already.

Ah well. My dad always says, "Women are like busses, another comes along every ten minutes."

But then he also says, "Women are like busses, you can usually ride one for less than a dollar," so maybe he's not such a great source of wisdom. I don't know what busses he's talking about. Around here busses are $1.50 at least.

I do not know why I did not tell her that. I guess I was too nervous, but well just like Wiz said "there are more fish in the sea..." there are many more girls that I will meet and I am sure one of them will be for me.

the next move is clear, call her.
be forward and ask her if she likes you.

The nervous voice was to be expected, but if she was looking you in the eye instead of at the floor it is probably a good sign. but you have to phone her first man, or else nothing will happen.
