just promise to behave and dont even try to pull some weird things.
you can bring in your ideas, but pls check at least on lancers if that area has been mentioned (if it can be done or not). Im sure you're full of ideas, so am i, but i roughly know what can be done.

most of the modding (~95%) can be viewed by the public, so you know where we are and what we will work on and also what we need
the whole concept(s) of the mod are getting clearer and clearer almost every day.

a few more things:
pls understand that i cant "recruit" 100 newbie modders to the project.
i want a core team that is very dedicated (i hope to get some newbies in here), but many tasks can and will be done by "freelancing" modders. means that i either ask the community to mod some things, or they come to me with some ideas. new ships, if well done are always welcome. the mod is designed in a way that i can add nearly all kinds of ships within the frame of good and realistic RP.
(pls no startrek or starwars stuff or any other existing/remade stuff, i want to have an overall "look" that is unique)

I'd like to give it a go as i've spent months modding .ini files and reading all the articles by Chips in the forums. I'm not good on ships but i've been beavering away at fixing all sorts of problems in FL. I like doing bases and commodities, i do systems etc so give me a shout if you're interested

no, i havent forgotten about you guys.
im sorry for the delay, our site admin takes a bit longer than expected and he wants to open it once all features of the site and some forum mods (phpbb) are finished. i can ask again to make at least the stuff public what already works (forum).

till now we have already like 10 times (or even more) more workouts, concepts and documentation on the new boards. mod designers have been very busy lately

everyone is welcome to help. we wont use xml scripts though, would become a bit too big and i'd lose overview. merging the work of all the ppl would be a pain as well (for normal ini files i have some tools that help merging a lot - winmerge for example).
yesterday for some reasons all sites of KlngArthur (site/forum host of infinity and excelcia) went down, so it will take a bit longer

Bad news - kinda worst case scenario.
our Host lost EVERYTHING.

Infinity site + forums, containing ~300 posts with mod concepts, workous, ideas, background stories, ...
intense work of 2-3 weeks, all gone

the old Excelcia site + forums (~over 1600 users, over 70k posts), all gone.

We ont know exactly what happened to the host but it was a massive failure in all systems, we dont know if there are any working backups.

All my tutorials are also lost.

I think i dont have to say that i am veryveryvery frustrated to lose all those things.

~one and a half years of excelcia, all those memories, experiances, the starting of my modding carreer, a lot of roleplay by me and the others.

I have put so much energy and dedication into Excelcia (first roleplaying, then admin, modding, ...) and now Infinity. Most of you cant imagine what it takes to run a place and/or to coordinate a modding team and to mod big parts of a big mod beside real life, work, my girl, ...

Im smashed to the ground and will need a bit time to realize what all i have lost.

The Infinity mod will be delayed by this. We need to rebuild the site and forums and post the most important concepts.
I will need at least a week to dig all th things out of my mind and write them down again.

Im sorry for this. Sometimes things just dont go right.
ill keep you updated. I wont give up the project, even if we suffere a severe drawback before we really started.
