Hi!

Great work with the mod Silvik!

I just wanted to inform you about two things:
1. The RepublicSD has a small mistake in it's mat file. I downloaded the mod from your link and if the download went correct, you might have missed this error.
In the mat file of the RepublicSD are several texture parts and the one called "RepublicSD03" has no tga file loaded into the mat file. You might want to check this.

2. For me the game does not start correctly. At first the FL loading screen (before the start menu) appears and then, when the start menu should appear the game crashes and I'm back in windows. I first thought it might be an error in the new intro scenes, but I checked these and they wre okay.
Then I looked into FLSpew and found the message "Failed to load library - could not open server.dll". I'm quite sure, that this is the problem, which crashes my game. Could you maybe check this, so that I know, if it is a problem with your mod or a problem only on my PC? Thanks!

By the way, I have a fresh installation and FL SDK 1.3 and I also deleted the fc_nom_grp entry from the mpnewcharacter.fl.

Again, great work with this mod!!!

Thanks Silvik, I will try deleting that line and see what happens. SP works perfect for me so far.

@Black Eagle - Mea Culpa, indeed the RepublicSD mat file contains one error, actually this is not a error, the texture RepublicSD03.tga is not used (it has no mesh references). I forgot to remove it when I've created the mat file, that's all.

Regarding second problem (server.dll) - honestly, have no idea
In my case all works fine, in Predator case - too (as you can see from the last post).

These errors are "normal".
Try deactivate and reactivate the mod.

@Predator - glad you like it Please test the MP properly - MP balance (I don't have this posibility).

Hi Silvik, You are always welcome on my server. Mod is working great for me in MP and last night in SP, not sure what is wrong with Black Eagles. Maybe the download got corrupted I would download it again if it was me

Hi again!

Many thanks for checking this Silvik. I also deleted the RepublicSD03 now and this error is now away. Apart from that my FLSpew file looks exactly the same as yours except of the entry with server.dll, which you do not have. So, I think this is a problem with my PC. I'll try to reinstall everything once again.

Hi Silvik, the server is picking up now that lancers has posted the mod . Just a quick question the one posted here is the same as the one from your site(with that nomad line deleted) ?

@Predator - here is posted final (corrected) version.
The line with invalid faction removed and the inexistent material reference also removed.
So here's the clean version

Thanks Silvik, the server is running the other version with just the line deleted. It seems to be running stable but I notice it is getting a lot of console red errors,so I will switch it to the Lancers corrected version on the next nightly shut down. Maybe it will clear them up

Silvik, the new version of the mod looks fantastic, but when I tried to install using SDK (newly DLed), I got this error:

Error: FLMM has determined that 'TIE Universe v9.1' won't properly activate.
Error: Unable to find section '[SystemInfo'(...) in 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\data\universe\systems\br04\br04.ini'

Any idea what's wrong with it?

Hi!

Be sure that you have SDK 1.3 installed. If you have the newest version 1.5, the mod will not properly activate, as the scripts are made fro the SDK version 1.3.

So, download the SDK 1.3, reinstall FL and then install SDK 1.3 and activate the mod. This should work then.
If however, you want to use SDK 1.5 by all means you have to correct several things in the scripts to fit it to this version of SDK. That's what I made and it works also, although it is some work.

Yep, that's right - it works with SDK1.3 only. The 1.5 it still beta (if I'm not mistaken).

Awesome Mod! Love the new changes.

But I'm wondering if there is a public Tie server out there, or is this still SP focused?
