Community Service News

The Teamspeak server has moved to a new server, so the IP for that has changed to 69.93.236.42 The password to log on the first time is portalive. You are welcome to use this Team Speak server to talk to your friends and talk to other players online while playing games such as Freelancer, Earth and Beyond and other games.
For the Team Speak server use Anonymous the first time you log on then you can register with the server and make your own password. If you need the free Team Speak software you can download it from here .

Portalive.com has set up a Ventrilo (voice chat) server to go alongside their Team Speak (also voice chat) and IRC (chat) servers. For those of you wishing to use the Ventrilo voice chat service, download the client from here , and connect to portalive.com with a password of portalive. The default channel is #earthandbeyond. Guild leaders, feel free to use this and set up your own channels for guild use.

Don't forget that the IRC server is always up and running, and you can join with the java client if you don't have irc software. The Lancers Reactor Freelancer chat channel can also be found here on Lancers Reactor.
There are always moderator's on these channels to help you if needed.

Freelancer Mod Manager v1.31 - made by Matthew "IGx89" Lieder
For those of you that don't know what The Freelancer Mod Manager is, it lets you instantly and easily activate and deactivate mods whenever you want. It backs up files before modifying them, and does three levels of error detection before activating a mod. It also lets you download and install mods with one click from a web page, by use of a custom file format (modName.zip.flmod).
It even works with mods not made to work with it; just unzip the mod into the appropriate directory! (read the Help/How Do I... documentation for more info)

TZM - The Zetas Mod made by SpAz
This is the next installment in the RELEVATiON Base series. It adds 4 new bases to the Freelancer Universe. The new bases are: Balboa Base(California), Battleship Savannah(Kelper), Reaper Base(Galileo) and RELEVATiON Base(New York). There are jumpholes added to all these systems and they are located around RELEVATiON Base..
Patrols are on guard 24/7 now.




The Monkeys Mod v1.0 made by Black Eagle
Some highlight of what this Mod adds to Freelancer. A new faction, the Monkeys, Planet Primus is now the base of the Monkeys and sells equipment, commodities and their ship the Anubis MK2 and added a commodity and a ship dealer). The Osiris is the Order base in the top unknown system with Anubis MK2 encounters that fight the Nomads and added a commodity dealer on the Osiris. A new Nomad system with a Monkey outpost and a Nomad outpost. The Nomad outpost sells Nomad weapons and the Valkyrie N1, an improved Rheinland Valkyrie. Nomad battleship/gunboat encounters with stronger weapons in the two Unknown systems and the Nomad system and Valkyrie N1 encounters in the Nomad system.
New rumors, reputation hackers and missions against the Nomads on the Osiris, Planet Primus and the Monkey outpost. Battleship encounters around the main planets off the six major factions Manhattan, New Berlin, New Tokyo, New London, Crete and Malta. Cruiser encounters in the six central systems New London, New Berlin, New Tokyo, New York, Omicron Gamma and Omicron Alpha, around the jumpgates to these systems and around the main planets in the other systems of the four houses (eg.: Hamburg, Leeds, etc.).
NPC's no longer have infinite power and their shields regenerate. Besides they use Nanobots and Shield batteries. You can now buy scanners and tractor beams all over Sirius and change your current ones. Changed Trents look. He now wears a rheinland suite (rh_wilham_body).

Server Side Missions made by Wasabe
Wasabe has created a couple of mods for server admins. One of them adds the requested Battleship missions, and the other adds harder missions to Manhattan and/or more missions available at Manhattan. These are both server side only mods, so clients don't need to download anything. Even the infocards on the battleship missions work perfectly. Both mods are simple XML scripts. Both have been tested extensively on a server and they work perfectly.




The Mars Flyer made by Harrier, Glock36 and Crabtree
This is the best ship I have ever seen. Three of the best Modders out there worked on it for our gaming pleasure. The original model was made by Derrin Proctors for the movie War of the Worlds. Harrier got permission to use it and made the textures and then Glock36 performed his magic on it and did the weapons, lighting and custom sounds. After all that was done, Crabtree did the scripting and tweaked the flight characteristics. The result of all that hard labor is just an amazing ship. Everything about this ship is custom made; the textures, weapons, sounds, maneuverability and lighting. You can use it in Singleplayer and Multiplayer games. You can buy the ship at Planet Manhattan at the beginning of the game with money left over for nanobots and shield batteries, although you probably won't need them. The Mars Flyer comes fully equipped and ready to blow your opponents to space dust. Have a blast, from all of us.



Komodo Dragon for Singleplayer made by rsdnt-evle
The Komodo Dragon Singleplayer version sets it up so that Juni gives you the ship at the start of a new singleplayer game along with $50 grand just for kicks. It's fully loaded, with Kusari Level 7 and 8 guns and level 10 shield. Shows up in the cut-scenes as well. This is simply to use when you just want to go help Juni and Company blow something up.




Komodo Dragon for Multiplayer made by rsdnt-evle
The Komodo Dragon is available for sale on the Kusari Battleship Matsumoto, which is near the Chugoku Gate construction site. The ship handles like the Eagle, has a bit more armor than the Titan, six weapon mounts, and two 360 degree turret mounts. Info cards, icon, and the .sur file from the Dragon heavy fighter included.

Corsairs Total Conversion Mod made by Ittan_v

Goldy's Enhancement Mod v1 by Golden Helmet
Version 1 allows you to buy the Anubis at every battleship and while you're at level 1. It also allows you to buy all the ships in the original game at different places then where they would normally be. For example, the Eagle is now on Planet Kurile, Freeport 9 (the original selling location) and several other places. There are also new infocards for every pilotable ship.




The NX01 Starting Ship Mod made by Achilles
This Mod only works in a new Singleplayer game. Don't try to start or use this Mod in a Multiplayer game.
The NX01 is your new starting ship when you start a new Singleplayer game of Freelancer.
You'll also see it in the cinematic's from the beginning. The NX01 comes with:

Freelancer version 1.0 Mod by MotoX
If you have installed the version 1.1 patch for Freelancer and you wish to go back to version 1.0, then this will take it back to the original version.




SP Money Mod by Centurian
This is his first Mod, and as he learns more, he will release better Mods. This one is a Single Player Mod that gives you the kind of money to get whatever you want right from the start.
Basically what it does is make your Starflier, which you obtain in the beginning of the story, worth a lot of $$$. When you buy a new ship and thus sell the Starflier you own, you will have a lot of Credits!


Commodity Mod made by Dabonde
This Mod adds prisoner's and VIP's to all the House planets. You can sell the prisoners for good money at prisons like LPI Huntsville, LPI Sugarland and Fuchu and the VIP's for big money at Luxury Liner's.
The prices of some other commodities has been modified on certain planets as well.


Justice MK-1's for the Evolutions Mod made by David
The Justice mk1 gun and turret Mod adds more damage and range to the original justice mk1 gun and turret.
David sent this in intending it for the Evolutions Mod but it's scripted so it will work with any Mod or by itself.

Alternative SP Ships by Rsdnt-Evle
This is his first Mod and it adds two fighters that are in the game, but not for sale: the Starblazer and the Blood Dragon fighter.
He made the Starblazer as an alternative to the Crusader and it's for sale on Planet Leeds in the Leeds System. He made it a heavy fighter for the sake of using the HF shields, as it's supposed to be an alternative to the Crusader. It only has 4 guns, but enough power to shoot them twice as long before draining. It's powerful enough to be useful, but still leaves a challenge.
He made the Blood Dragon as an alternative to the Hawk and it's for sale on Kyoto Base in the Chugoku System. It's slightly more powerful than the standard Dragon HF and its about on par with the Anubis. You can use it to finish the SP campaign if you'd like to have an alternative. Info cards are included for both ships.




Pirate Clans ship pack Mod made by DarkLord
This is an Excellent bunch of ships from the Pirate Clan. This ship pack Mod contains 13 ships that were developed by DarkLord.
This Mod works in both Singleplayer and Multiplayer games. Also it is compatible with some other Mods. Ships included in this package are the DarkStar, Narn Battlecruiser, Enterprise D, Pirate Freighter, Tempest, Jem Haddar, Freedom Fighter, Hijacker, Phantom Battle Cruiser, Klingon Battle Cruiser, Super Eagle and Defiant.
These ships are buyable all over New York space like Planet Manhattan, Planet Pittsburgh, Battleship Missouri and Planet Los Angeles. They are currently running a server with this mod and the Silver Fire's Weapons Pack v1.3. The server name is The Pirate Clan Server and it is an open server to all. Aesthetic - Stone-D's Inanimate Mission Vendors made by Stone-D
This mod will extend the life of your Esc key and give an extension to your sanity. It eliminates the bar spiel the bar patrons throw at you.
This does NOT affect any game mechanics. Just the bar animations. It is Multiplayer Safe.




StoneD Trent Freelancer conversation computation made by Laga
This is a hilarious MP3 file in which the community may find somewhat... amusing. It only took Laga about three hours to knock together, so forgive any oddities in the sound.




TIE Universe Mod made by Silvik
This Mod Replaces some Liberty ships with TIE ships.
The starting ship in Singleplayer games is now a TIE Fighter- Liberty Battleships, -Star Destroyer- Liberty Civilian Ship, -TIE Fighter- Liberty Police and the LSF, -TIE Interceptor- Liberty Navy, -TIE Advanced Fighter- The Order, -TIE Defender and TIE Droid- Juni, -TIE Droid-. Some of Company's Escort are also now flying TIE Fighters.
Added some TIE weapons. All Liberty ships and almost all Liberty bases use TIE weapons (Jump gates, Docking rings and Trade Lanes too). Order uses they own TIE weapons, shields and thrusters (except mission 1). All shields were modified (regenerate rate was increased by 50 % and rebuild time was reduced to 0). Order shield has been modified to (class 8). Added a new Order shield. NPC's uses normal shields. Also they repair both shields and hull. Increased loot and the Free Port 7 system was reopened. Original TIE ships also are somewhat modified (added missing contrails, runninglights, docklights etc).

Stargate Death Glider made by Chris

Avar - Battletech Mod preview made by Velation
This is the first completely finished ship in the upcoming 'battletech mod' that Velation is working on and since it's the first ship that he has done he decided to release it to see what people think. The Avar can be purchased on New Home, in the Kul Narnh System.




FlRebalance 340 Upgrade 2.1 made by Platman
This is a addon Mod for the Flrebalance Mod version 3.40 made by Michael Dan.
Version 2.1 fixes a problem that occurred from the jumphole from New York to the Troy System. The jumphole in New York crashed Freelancer when you play the storyline during or after one of the mission. So no more jumphole from N.Y. to Troy system. Everything else remains the same.
The upgrade Mod changes the level of missions in every system and adds 1 New System (Troy) with a lot of traffic and a more 3D experience. 17 New Bases. 5 in New York, 3 in Colorado, 1 in Texas and 8 in Troy.
Do not use this mod online unless the server running the Flrebalance Mod v3.40 says that it is using the Upgrade v2.0 in the information about the server.

Improved and Deathwish AI Mods made by Warzog
While working on the Privateer/Wing Commander MOD- Privateer: The Reckoning v2.0, Warzog has improved the AI. It's occurred to him that it may be useful to others, and decide to release them as separate mods.
Improved AI: This mod makes Freelancer much more difficult to play.
It improves the aim and accuracy of all of the NPC characters.
It should work with most other mods with little or no problems.
Deathwish AI: For those who find the Improved AI to easy, try this mod!

The Realistic Sound Mod Part 2 made by Chris
This mod is the second part of the Realistic Sound Mod. This mod will replace the sound when tractoring, jettisoning cargo, and interrupted tractoring.




Hardpoints Mod by The Godfather
The Hardpoints Mod simply changes the Torpedo/Cruise Disruptor hardpoints to standard Gun/Missile hardpoints, so Cruise Disruptors and Torpedos can be mounted anywhere. Also, all of the hardpoints are now at the ship's maximum class, although the ship may not have enough power to fire all of the high class guns.




Flrebalance v3.40 Upgrade v1.0 made by Platman
This is the first version of upgrades made by Platman for FlRebalance Mod v.3.40, made with Michael Dans permission.<br>
This Mod adds 5 new bases in the New York system. Planet Maine, Battleship Guardian, N.Y. Federal Prison, North Border Station and Suntrap Research Station which is different from the other bases. In every system you can have different levels of missions. Also the amount of credits needed in order to level up has increased so you have to do more work if you want to advance in levels.




WW2 Ship Pack 3 created by Necrolord and Rayak
This Mod has the Vampire X2000, Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat, J2 Fury X2000 and the Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero. Missile launchers can now be equipped both in weapon bays and torpedo bays.




Speedlancer made by Devast8or
This Singleplayer and Multiplayer compatible Mod doubles the movement speed of pretty much everything in the game, from muzzle velocities, engines, thrusters and turning rates of ships. It's a lot of fun once you get use to the craziness.




The Order Battleships Mod by Chris the Star Trek Man
This Mod will make the Order control most of the Battleships in the Sirius Sector. The Battleships Westfalen and the Missouri are the primary Order Bases.
In V1.1:
Other “not for sale” Rheinland Weapons are now buyable at New Berlin and Hamburg (not only planets)
You can now talk with the Weapons, Ships and Commodity Dealers in the Order battleships.


Hydra Type B addon for FlRebalance v3.40 made by Michael Dan
This is an addon for the FlRebalance v3.40 Mod that adds a second smaller version of the Hydra Corvette Prototype made due to the fact that the original Hydra prototype did not fit on the Battleship Osiris and some players may want to finish the Singleplayer Campaign with the Hydra. This Type B prototype barely fits in the Osiris tight docking bay but it does...it has less cargo (900 instead of 1500) and a less class to both weapon and shields, but it's more maneuvrable than the Type A. Specs are on the download page.

Star Wars Ship Pack addon for Evolutions 1.27 made by Sanic
For Star Wars fans, this Mod adds Porsches Star Wars Ship Pack 4.0 to Chips excellent Freelancer Evolutions v1.27 Mod. Make sure you activate the Ship Pack after you activate the Evolutions Mod.
Ships incluced are the Slave1, A-Wing, B-Wing, Corellian Corvette, Jedi StarFighter, Sith Infiltrator, Koensayr Y-Wing and the Millennium Falcon.
This is unofficial, please do not use this Mod on a server unless the server is also using this add-on! Of coarse you can use it in your own games. Thanks to Porsche for making the original ship mod. Sanic has tried to keep them as he intended except for the vary high price and secret location. Thanks to Chips for the Evolutions Mod and for his guidance in making this Mod possible.




Freelancer Evolutions Mod v1.27 final made by Chips
The Evolutions Mod was posted back on Christmas Eve but due to reports of a corrupt file the Evolutions Mod file has been replaced. If you got an error the first time you can download it again.
This is the final version with patch included.
For those of you new to the excellent Evolutions Mod it is playable in both Singleplayer and Multiplayer games. Allot of changes have been made such as new ships, systems, weapons, commodities, loot, new NPC encounters, ship dynamics, new stats and a second hand trade run from the Junkers.

Freelancer Rebalance Mod v3.40 made by Michael Dan
The newest version of the fantastic Rebalance Mod has arrived. There are a total of 163 custom ships, tons of custom equipment and weapons such as the Liberty CARG Laser cannon, Heavy Ion Blaster, Bretonia Quark cannon, the Molly Redviper and Blackviper Tachyon cannons(classes 6 and 7). The Corsairs are using Borroccos, Rapiers and Tizona del Cids and the Bounty Hunters are using their Particle weapons in their loadouts. There is the Kusari "Hyperphoton" Blaster, the Blood Dragon's "Dragon Breath" Laser Cannon with new sounds, the Star Trek Phasers, Federation, Romulan, Dominion and the SW Rebel and Imperial Blasters. The Rheinland Pulsar cannon class 9 and Silver Fires WP weapons: mass drivers, customized cluster missiles, and so on.
New systems (added from all versions). Babylon 5 systems: Earth Force Alliance, Minbari, Centauri Republic and the Narn Systems. Augur Systems populated by Michael, Iowa - 7 bases, Illinois - 3 bases, New Jersey - 2 bases and Carolina - 1 base.
Also the Alaska System gate is opened, Prison Station Mitchell is an active base and the Juneau shipyard becomes a live military complex with 2 R&R bases, 3 shipyards and 2 Industrial bases (depots, like Detroit Munitions).
The new ships are 24 in number and are listed with specs in the readme. There's 11 of Augur's SP ships and 14 of Michael's own SW ship pack.

This is a texture pack in Freelancer Mod Manager format designed to replace the default skins of the Fightspace Capital ships such as the Naginata, Tempest, Javelin, Damocles and Leviathan. Black Label Mod v1.1 for Freelancer made by Acid
This is v1.1 of the Black Label Mod. With this release the Camara Heavy Freighter has been added into the game. It will be seen throughout the Sirius sector serving as a corporate transport, and is also available from both Junyo and Freeport 9. This is a heavy duty freighter that can also serve as a gunship with the right guns mounted. It is a class model from Konfliction and a worthy ship to be included in the Black Label Mod.




Justice MK Guns And Shields made by David
This Mod upgrades the Justice MK 1-2-3 and Shields Class 5-6-7-8.
This upgrade of the Justice Guns adds a little more Hull Damage, increases the range from 600 to 750k, makes them available for sale at each of the capital planets of each house and changes the graphics effect of the munitions.

Realistic Sound Mod made by Chris The Star Trek Man
Chris is back! It has been a long time. He missed modding and playing Freelancer since he made the Trent Clothes Collection Mod (1, 2 & 3), The Music Replacement Mod, the Monkeys and the Order Mod (with the Music Addon Mod), The Engine Trail Mod and the annoying FNN News Channel Mod so he made another Mod called the Realistic Sound Mod.
This Mod will change the landing and the launching engine sounds of Freelancer.




P.O.C. "Mooring Base" Mod made by Metral
This is a POC (proof of concept) Mod for a "mooring base." This mod adds a simple base to the mooring fixture above Planet Manhattan that sells commodities, has repairs, nanobots, shield batteries and ammo available for purchase but not much more. Other than the side-effect of allowing fighters, freighters and capital ships to dock with the mooring fixture, it's intended to create an example for more realistic capital class docking with a planet.
This Mod is a P.O.C. (proof of concept), and is left open source. You may modify it, adapt it, change it and/or redistribute it as long as it contains the original file and Metrals name as the programmer/creator of this concept/mod.

StarShadow's Ship and Equipment Mod v1.1 made by StarShadow
This is an update to StarShadow's first Mod. The update mainly deals with tweaking the pricing of a lot of the equipment and ships for more balance. The Mod is a compulation of ships for which he gives the credit to the shipwrights. Ships included are the Thoth, Seejur Medium Freighter, Seejur Hybrid Mk I/II/III, T-Wing, Jedi StarFighter, Millennium Falcon, Corellien Corvette, Koensayr Y-Wing, Sith Infiltrator, A-Wing Scout/Interceptor and the Fiirkan Light Fighter.
New weapons with some great weapon effects (over 40), plus allot of equipment and armor upgrades. Cruise Speed and Shields have been altered and cargo is handled slightly differently. This mod is technically a work-in-progress so we should see even more gaming goodness coming from StarShadow.

This Mod adds the F6F Hellcat to the game. The F6F Hellcat is based on the Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat used by the US Navy during the 2nd World War.

Planetary Beacon Concept made by Louva-Deus
This is a proof of concept project that replaces the docking rings in New York with invisible planetary beacons.
There are two Modes
Mode 1: Single Dock with planetary link - This mode allows you to select a planet as usual and use the dock command and it will work, also like usual only 1 ship can dock at a time.
Mode 2: Multi-Dock without planetary link - This mode allows up to 6 ships to dock at the same time, however you are not able to select the planet and dock you must select the beacon/dockring to dock to the base.
The code is commented so you know how to use either type in your own project. Keep in mind that this is only a proof of concept and that it is not of any professional quality and not recommended for use.

Soulforge Train Tweaked by Chips
This is a re-make of Soulforges Train Mod that was not available until now. This mod has been re-done by Chips using Soulforges original settings. Chips has updated allot for the mod such as an icon, mountable weapons, thrusters, weapons for sale on Capital Planets and Omicron Alpha and Gamma. Updated docking method, the train can only dock using planet mooring fixtures and several bases allow docking such as Malta and Crete which is done by Victors docking method. The Train is for sale on Manhattan, New Tokyo, New London and New Berlin.

Maybe not for some people it wouldn't be so I asked the Script Guru - Chips to make a starting credit options Mod. The options are made possible now because IGx89 made this possible with the Freelancer Mod Manager.
This is for Singleplayer games only, not Multiplayer incase you were wondering. There are two sets of options - first is if they are playing the storyline - you will get that money when you accept the ship from Juni.<br>
If you want to play Open Singleplayer you need Xerx's Open SP activated for the Open Singleplayer part of the options.




Vampire X2000 made by Necrolord
This is an update for the Vampire with better design and a new skin. The Vampire is now black and red with red flames coming from the engines and a see through glass hull with a pilot inside. There are now 4 guns and 2 turrets instead of 6/1. Also the ship is already fitted with 2 class 8 Vampire guns, 2 class 8 Vampire turrets, 2 class 10 Paralyzer missile launchers and a class 10 shield. The Mod is now scripted so it no longer replaces ini/dll files. What does that mean? It should run with most other mods.

The FB14 Vampire X2000 is a ship similar to planes flown in WW2. However, it isn't based on any original plane, but instead modeled after the FB14 Vampire from the Crimson Skies game. This is Necrolords first Mod and he will be adding more ships to the Mod as he makes them.




Konfliction Industries v1.0 Mod Made by Konflict
After the sales from the Antaeus in the Sirius sector, Konfliction Industries then went into the research and development of a freighter that would be the future force for hauling the construction materials for future projects. The Camara is the result of that effort. The Konfliction Mod v1.0 has two ships The Camara a new freighter and The Antaeus.




SF Weapon Pack v1.3 made by Silver_Fire
Version 1.3 fixes a little bug with FLMM about the last character in a GENERATESTRRES line not being a parenthesis...and since he wanted to send in a fix he added another Weapon to the package - a Flamethrower.
The Silver_Fire Weapon Mod Pack adds 49 new weapons to the game including Cluster Missiles, Cruise Missiles, EMP Mines, Sniper Interdictor Missiles, Point Defense Weapons, Rocket Pods, Mass Drivers, and Shockwave Missiles. The weapons are sold on Manhattan, New London, New Tokyo, New Berlin, Malta, and Crete. For the Weapons that need it, Ammo is now sold everywhere.
You MUST have FLMM v1.2.1 beta 5 or higher for this mod to work.




Game Play Patch Mod version 1.3 made by Krevett
Version 1.3 of the Game Play Patch Mod makes the game a little harder since the NPC's are now better equipped (in scenario missions too). They now carry Screamers, EMP Missiles, better Mines, Weapons and Shields!! Platforms and Stations are more resistant and collision damage has been increased. Ammo for new weapons is now available everywhere and main Planets and Bases sell all Equipment. The Cruise Speed has been reduced to 500 to avoid problems in the story line. The first mission now pays 20,000 credits and there are more ships for sale in bases that sell ships.




Black Label Mod for Freelancer made by Acid
This mod is designed to be a collection of only the very best of ships and equipment built for Freelancer. The aim is to introduce some fine equipment to the Freelancer universe without it either being a 'total conversion' or a 'bolt-on mod'. Two things will always be true in this mod. First is that there will only be a small amount of high quality mods collected together within it, and the second is that the mods will be integrated as tightly as possible with the game.
At this time, there are only two additional ships and one piece of equipment that have been added to the game. These are all detailed below:
Starviper
The starviper is the first ship to come out of the APS shipyards, and I still think it's the best from that stable. It is a high quality model which is well appointed and the fact that it bears a faint resemblance to the Civilian ships helps it integrate with the Freelancer universe. The starviper is available for purchase on the Battleship Hood and Planet Junyo, but it is also the mainstay of the Farmers' Alliance. Expect to come up against some of these ships if you travel much through Kusari space.
Slipstream
The Slipstream is an offering by FireBase which acts as a showcase for good ship design in Freelancer. It is a well appointed high quality model with a clean look which is not inconsistent with the general design of Freelancer ships. It can be purchased from the Battleship Hood and Bruschal Base. As the latter may suggest, the ship is flown by the Bundschuh so expect to see it around Rheinland space, not necessarily on friendly terms.
Chain Gun
Harrier has created an outstanding weapon that comes as a primary weapon and a turret mount. This is a rapid fire energy weapon which fires hundreds of rounds per second. One small point of note, this weapon is classified as a class 6 weapon due to the energy draw and damage potential of a single shot. That having been said, you will probably want to mount this on a ship that can handle extreme weapons and have the power supply to feed them because of the refire rate. Even ships with an optimal rating of class 6 will probably feel the strain of extended use of these weapons. They can be purchased at the same locations as the new ships, along with some additional shields which are not generally for sale anywhere else.

This is Illero's first package deal, there will be more in the future. The Caerion Light Fighter and The Midanek Heavy Fighter. Both Ships are available for purchase at Planet Manhattan.

Freelancer Rebalance v3.30 general fix patch made by Michael Dan
It seems that more errors were found that desperately need correction, so Michael put together a final version of the patch, now called "FLRB330genfix.zip.flmod" because it is a general fix for all bugs encountered in v3.30, mostly in Multiplayer mode. A readmepatch.txt file is included, here is what the patch does:
Rebalance 3.30 final patch:
-Includes the capital ship patch.
-Fixed the random crashes in EFA system, the system is now stable and open for business.
-No more Firesprays at low levels missions versus Bounty Hunters.
-Bobba Fett's Firespray is renamed to Firespray attack & patrol ship.
-Fixed the Dagger XR miss typed weapon hardpoints in shiparch.ini.




Flrebalance Mod version 3.30 made by Michael Dan
For those of you new to the Flrebalance Mod your in for a treat. This Singleplayer and Multiplayer playable Mod adds and changes so much in Freelancer that you will be busy for sometime discovering it all. There is not enough room to list it all here so please see the download page for a more complete description and the Flrebalance Readme file for a more complete overview of what is in this Mod.
There is allot of changes in version 3.30 like adding weapons and new ships. I counted 118 custom ships. Fixing bugs like some IDS info for certain ships, with wrong number of guns or cargo space. Fixed 2 ship dealers at Southampton and Yanagi Depot(sigma 13). Added 2 bases in Omicron Alpha and Gamma, both on pre-existing Planets and both belonging to Zoners and giving missions from the Bounty Hunters.

Also some other minor fixes have been made.

Privateer: The Reckoning v1.06 MOD for Single Player Freelancer made by Acid, Tolwyn and Warzog
Enter the world of Wing Commander's Privateer! There are 10 ships from several of the Wing Commander games. Other ships are under construction, and further modifications are being made.

Evolutions Mod version 127 Server and Client Update made by Chips
The 127 Patch/Update fixes lots of things - mainly to do with cheaters though, and not so much in the way of bugs. If you don't download this update and activate it - you will be kicked for cheating by the patch off the server when they try to buy/equip/sell/change things that this modifies.

This is the new version, with lots of changes including new systems.

eagle transport. Nomad ships are on the hidden base in the minefield maze.
However, names have been changed to fit with the role (as there are now house VHF for each house to compete with the pirates, the shipping companies have some of their own ships, and the pirates have a freighter or two. There are also some designed solely for killing the capships.
What else?
There are five new systems:
2 Rheinland system.
1 Bretonain minefield system, contains a massive maze, secret wrecks, secret station, pirates and just plain death.
1 Liberty system - possibly the biggest system you have flown in for a while. Dimensions are approx 100000 by 900000 by 50000. That is allot of space, and includes 10 bases
of which four are on the same planet (multiple docking ring).
1 Kusari system - nice little system - this one rises 100k upwards.

This is an excellent ship pack that adds 6 amazing ships to Freelancer, namely the Death Scythe, the Experimental Scout Ghost, the Phantom, the Basilisk, the Black Specter and the Raven Claw. It works in Singleplayer and Multiplayer mode.

Free Worlds version 163 made by the Free Worlds mod team
Free Worlds is a total conversion (TC) mod for Freelancer. Free Worlds will completely change all aspects of the Freelancer universe to resemble that of a certain "galaxy far, far away". There is faction play, NPC vs Player balancing, weapons systems, loot, commodities, infocards, on and on and on... Two new ships have been added to this new version, the A-Wing and the E-Wing. A new system, Bilbringi, is also ready to be explored. This is still a MultiPlayer only mod.


Interspace Hub made by Si
This mod adds a new system to the Freelancer universe with jump holes to the main planet of the four major houses (Manhattan, New London, New Tokyo and New Berlin). The jump holes are located behind each planet.
There is a base in the system which sells the 3 class 10 ships (Eagle, Sabre and Titan), as well as the Class 8, 9 and 10 shields of each type. There is also a variety of weapons available.




Freelancer Rebalance Mod v3.20 made by Michael Dan
-The AI controlled NPC ships will effectively use their nanos and shield batteries to repair their ships and recharge shields!
-At default and hard level, the easy and medium npc pilots will repair their hulls while the hard and ace ones(above level 12) will repair both the hull and recharge the shield using nanobots and shield batteries.
-At hard level the repair rate will be much faster and the baddies will have more nanos and shield batteries!
-Added the LI Heavy Ion Blaster, a Liberty design combining the advantages of a laser cannon and a plasma blaster. I have improved graphics+sounds to make it look and feel like a Liberty super gun.
-The BD "Dragon's Breath" Laser cannon now has much improved visual quality making it look more like a pirate super-laser gun.
-Added Silver Fire's weapon Pack 1.1 including the new mass drivers and rocket pods. Modified cluster missiles to have less tracking abilities, but to be able to fit into weapon, turret and torpedo slots. making them some of the most versatile weapons ever available.
-Shield capacitors offer increased protection against pulse, missile an capital ship type weapons, also slightly increased vs Tachyons and Neutron class. They're almost impervious to mass driver weapons.
-All battleship and cruiser/destroyer turrets have reduced effects vs shields. This increases the realism since these turrets were made for capital vs capital battles. Only BS and CA flak and missile turrets do full shield damage.
-Added tradelanes all throughout the EFA system linking planets and jumpholes. Also added a new base near Planet Jupiter, the Jupiter Observation Station.
-Added Porsche's Jedi T-Fighter available at Shinagawa Station in New Tokyo.
-Added the Antaeus made by Konfliction industries, buyable at BS York and Tsushima Station.
-Weapon type for the Barragers, Sunfurys and the Kusari Hyper Pulse is now capital class so they do reduced shield damage.
-The TIE turrets now have 360 degree rotation angle, making them useful on freighters as well.
-The cruise speed comes at a price now: not only it will render weapons unusable but it will drain the main reactor's power at high rates. you may have to pause the cruise to allow the power to recharge.
-Engines also drain power in normal mode from the fusion reactor, even if at lower rates. if you go at top speed you'll notice a slight decrease in power regen, so reduce your speed to achieve better regeneration rates.
-All engines have infocards showing the theoretical max speeds, the energy draw and the cruise energy draw.
-Mounting fusion reactors upgrades will increase cruise time and weapon regen rate at max speed.
-Added commodity vendors to plot spawned bases such as Baxter Research Station and Glorious Station.
-Ship vendors are working correctly now on Holman Outpost.
-Beware of the powerful explosions of battleship in Random Missions, these really hurt now! Nomad Battleships hurt the most.
-Random mission have further variation as cruiser/destroyer class ships can be both defensive and capital class stations.
-Ships have been moved around again so expect surprises. Run the Data Storm on the modded FL folder to avoid these if you prefer to know exactly where the ships are.
-The mod is compatible with the 1.1 patch except some TIE ships and the SkyHawk. players buying the Skyhawk or the TIE ships(the TIE Bomber and Tie Advanced) will be kicked as cheaters. The other 3 TIE ships(Fighter, Defender and Interceptor) are working normally.
-Fixed the hardpoints for the Javelin Assault Cruiser, added more so now it has 32 gun/turret HP''s, 8 main guns and 24 secondary support turrets.
-Added the Leviathan Warship Class "Balistner" from the Fightspace mod available in the EFA system. It's the ultimate Capship in terms of firepower and protection.
-Fixed several bugs regarding the EFA system commodities, ship vendors on several stations and powerplant infocards mixed with engine infocards.


Menu Options for Freelancer made by Reynen
This mod makes several changes to the menu that gives users more flexibility in what they want to do.
Here is a list of the new available options. We are developing more options and any help in creating more is appreciated. I have given details in the readme with what we are doing.

Trents new Start made by Chips
You start in one of three locations:
First: You start on Freeport7 with the ton of Boron. You can sell it to Lonigan and go about your way however you feel.
Second: You start outside Freeport 7. You have not received payment from Lonigan, so you may collect the cargo for a small fee from the station merchant, and your transport from the ship dealer again. Without that million credits, you best go find somewhere to sell it.
Third: You start in the border worlds. You have just brought your load of Boron on the cheap, and now must head to the Freeport 7 system to meet with Lonigan and sell your cargo. It is worth 1 million credits remember!
Additional:
While in Freeport 7 you can pick up some handy hints from Lonigan and even some police about what to trade well.
If you follow those suggestions you will soon be making lots of money.
You can undertake missions in Freeport 7 - but watch out, there are some nomads about!


Chips Changing System made by Chips
You can choose from several layouts of the system, choose any of 15 systems for it to be connected too, and choose the pirate faction contained in the system. The systems layout changes radically between each layout.


Dark Trent & Alien Races Mod made by KYJellYFish
This mod will add the Dark Trent head, Klingon head, Zabrak head (Darth Maul), Black and White head (race from the original Star Trek) to the game and it changes Trent's costume.


The F-22 and Su-35 made by Caid
Includes models of the American F-22 and the Russian Su-27, in it's version Su-27M (Su-35). We can say one generation of advanced fighters, both VHFs. The F-22 is more like the 78 Hammerhead; agile, with fast firing cannon and perfect thruster to quickly enter or leave the battle. The Su-35 is closer to a Titan with its amazing armor and size. The Su-35 carries a total of 14 weapons including one cannon and missile turrets, so the craft can fire 3 missiles against foes behind and alongside together with mines. Both ships have their own authentically based weapons, ammo is available at the Battleship Westfalen, where you can also buy these ships, and the ammo is also available in the Edge Worlds metropoles.


MiG-29 update made by Caid
Caid and Trent have been busy making some changes to the Mig-29 making it a force to be reckoned with. The MiG has been in the paint shop and Trent did some work on the equipment while he was at his favorite vacation spot on the Battleship Westfalen in the Hamburg System.

Chips Version of the Storyline made by Chips
This mod will give you a choice of 56 different ships fully equipped, if the AI has regenerating shields with three levels of regeneration rate, choose if the AI uses nanobots or shield batteries, or both, choose from 40 different costumes and the starting money amount from 0 to 250000 credits when you start a new Singleplayer game.
During the story, bases will sell all 56 Freelancer ships.
You will be able to select all this from a menu when you activate the mod in the Mod Manager.


Chips Singleplayer Addon made by Chips
This is an extra Mod that works with the Open SP and Storyline Mods and gives you more options. You can purchase weapons not normally in Freelancer at a variety of locations. Freeport 7 has been rebuilt and you can dock there. You can also buy equipment on the base. You can also go to the other systems normally closed in Freelancer. Populate those systems, a choice between light, normal or extreme nomads. In Toledo there were 18 nomad fighters hunting me down!
This mod doesn't clash with Chips Open SP version, although it say it does. This mod doesn't clash at all with the Open SP mod. You can go to the other systems using the nomad jumpgates. These jumpgates might not have any names due to FLMM not generating the names for the systems.


Real Space v2.0 made by Louva-Deus
Real Space is a combination of 4 plugins; Real Space, Ai Upgrade, Explosion Damage, and Liberty Upgrade. The overall goal to this project is to create a more 'realistic' experience in the Freelancer universe.

Here is a mod by another young Freelancer fan that changes Trents clothes to a Liberty Uniform like the one Juni wears.

The TCS Vesuvius made by Plague
The TCS Vesuvius, the Super Carrier from Wing Commander 4 and prophecy. This massive ship has 25 turrets, 2 torp launchers and a massive cargo bay.
As a warning, this ship uses large moors and can not dock at planets, but it can at any space station. Be warned, it's huge.
It can be purchased at Manhattan for 8 million and the custom battleship turrets can be bought there as well.

Ever dream of taking a ride in a Messerschmitt Me 262A-1 Schwalbe. Now, it is fulfilled - at least for Freelancer. Powerful heavy fighter instantly equipped with four cannons, also under wings it can carry torpedoes and mine launcher. Armor is adequate for a heavy fighter, shield too. As the cannons are particle weapons, It is good to use as a nomad hunter. You have this WW2 veteran at the Battleship Westfalen in the Hamburg System.

GSM "Graphics and Sound Mod" is not exactly a mod, but more of a game enhancement. It was designed to improve the game's mood; to make it more like the Alpha version. It combines new graphics and new sounds, to create an overall moodier Freelancer. Bigger explosions, darker systems, improved sounds, all combined together to improve the overall Freelancer gaming experience, and add a touch or realism to the game. One of the advantages of this mod is that it only changes things processed on the client's side that do not affect mutliplay, so it can be used in multiplayer, without causing any lag! GSM has been designed from the ground up to do this, and has been extensively tested (there were well over twenty public betas before this final release).

The house ships in Liberty space have similar stats as other houses yet are much weaker, this project fixes that.

"The Antaeus" made by Konflict
The Antaeus is a heavy fighter which is available at Battleship York in Leeds.
The Antaeus has 2 hardpoints for Contaega cannons which are also available on the Battleship York (specially made for the ship).
The ship can have other weapons mounted but will look very out of place visa versa for mounting the Contaega cannons onto other ships.

The Next Generation v1.70 made by Starfyre Studios
The Next Generation Mod 1.7 changes a number of things concerning gameplay. They have fixed a number of bugs. By far they have made the mod much harder due to complaints about it being to easy. The battlestation missions have especially been made deadly so that groups are now more or less required to do them in order to survive. It IS possible to solo one, if you have about 30-45 min to spare for 1 mission and are very careful. Those that think Battleships will save them will find themselves in a middle of a meat grinder.
- Fixed the problem with Dark Shard offering missions against it's own kind.
- Redid all fighters maneuverability to put it on par with the original ships.
- Got rid of almost all console errors. (see known issues below)
- All shadow ships no longer have counter measures or mines.
- Fighters may no longer use battleship reactors nor shields.
- All shadow ships had their power reduced significantly.
- Added Inner System Warp Drive for capital ships only.
- Ammo can be bought at all stations without faction.
- Added countermeasures and mine to the profiteer.

This is an addition to the IONCROSS Freelancer Server Operator program (any version) by JoeBoomz.
It replaces the original GAMEDATA files with updated information to include the added objects in the The Next Generation 1.7 Mod.
If you use the The Next Generation 1.7 mod on your server and want to use the Server Operator program with it, then simply extract these GAMEDATA files to your IONCROSS Freelancer Server Operator directory.
The default directory for the Freelancer Server Operator is in:
C:\Program Files\IONCROSS Freelancer Server Operator
You can then use the Freelancer Server Operator with The Next Generation Mod version 1.7!
These files will also work for IONCROSS Freelancer Character Editor (any version).
