game developing X has made a FL mod

Hello, if i knew there was suge a large communitie of modders for fl then with your help we could create our mod a lot earlier
ok kut the crap
this is our mod and specs
- your level now goes to 100 ( it's bit high i know)
- 15 new ships wich go from class 10 till 20
- and the 3 different types of trains are unlocked
- 29 new weapons
- 9 new missions ( there is a greater enemy then the nomads )
- 12 new alian ships
- a new enemy ( the nomads where actualy fleeing)
- the possebilty buy a ship carier ( it can transport ships for one place to the other and made the ship price float for exaple hte price for a titan in manhattan is larger then in rheinland
- ship dealers now sell 10 different types of ships
- 2 new commodities alien gas ( needed to transform captured planets back) and slaves ( you can buy these at slave stations or capture your self

do you have any sugestions, new ships graps, or anything at all post it here
the file size is just under 14 mb and it will be planned to be released in may
or later if a get a lot of sugestions

o.k i read a few toppics on this site and it doesn't look like it's not very difficult to make the cloaker/jammer work ( they are all ready in the game but not enabeled ) ok this is nr. 1 on my to do list and some ships graps from other people would be nice ( if ya all help we can get allot more ships)

Sweet, sounds good. How about improve the AI a little bit? How much is alrady made in that 14mb mod?

Hmm ok well if youre implementing new missions already, could you post a tutorial on the subject so the rest of us can have a jack at it?
Also if you have a beta release available?

in the mod i did almost everthing but i still have to do
- make up a few stats
- make the shipcarier work

it now shows 2 ships in each other. the damm game doesn't seem to know what i want

i would like to post a beta but my internet is currently offline
i jammed in a modem so it would take way to long
but the 20 of april i hope to lauch my firts beta's

Game"x" developing could use some one who can use a complex grapic simulator ( so not paint ) we do ALLOT of mods from battlefield to counterstrike)

From leonhart about my ships.

Those pictures are only screenshots from doga. I am having hard time importing them in to freelancer. The only way that I will share the files is if you promise to import them to freelancer and send me finished files so that I could test them or make some changes on the ship states. (if needed) If you do not accept this well then I am sorry to say this but it will be second. If I like what was done I will give you permission to use them in mod, if I do not like their states I will change them send them back to you and give you permission to use them in mod.

If you accept to finish the work I will send you original doga and .dxf files for both ships.

The ships must keep their original names:
Darkfighter-for fighter
Battleship Demonstar-for battleship


May strong survive and weak perish

leonhart, of course you will get the credits you deserve.
you put a LOT of work in it and you will always get the final word
the only problem is with the current amount of work we have we don't make our release date so i have a proposition for you, as soon as our cable connection is fixed ( just a few days) and our website is back online i will give u a password with u can use to download the import program ( just don't share it with others) and you can do it your self.
do you argree or would you like to us to do it and sent it to you so you can jugde it
(it will take us some more work)

by the way we all saw your pictures and they look pretty nice, would you like to join us and make mods for other games. we really could use a skinner/modeler. this we can offer you
- no money, we are just amataurs
- our sofware, we use a special modified version of 3d renderer (version X) and doga ( but u already got it)
- our programms, like the import programma
- our mods, as one of the first

Ok I will finish ships on my own and send you the files once they are complete.

And as for moding I am only good with making ships in doga and I know how to use some other programs like metasequoia. But yes I will join you because I am fast learner therefore couple of hours on other programs and I will know how to use them like an expert.

Anyway this could help me because I plan to work with computers in future as an job.

does someone knows what we can do to fix the problem with the shipcarier??
the shipcarier is a ships designed to hold other ships but there is a problem when a ship is larger then the shipcarier you can see it and not the shipcarier if the shipcarier is larger then you see the carier
how can we fix this without making the shipcarier mega mega large
can you to exclude ships from the carier list
if some would like to i can send the ships carier ini the ship sale ini ( otherwise you cann't buy it ) and the graps. and the special ship carier dll to you

simply by using a dll editor and adding new valua's of level up's in common.dll
and if you want to do it really good then add in infocards.dll the same valua's so you van see them in the game under the stat menu

I was afraid it would involve hacking a dll *sigh*

One more question: can unmodded clients connect to a server with modded dlls? I imagine they'd get a version mismatch, but you never know huh?

This mod seems to be too good to be true. I hope the result will be as good as you promise... Well, now to my question: I have been trying to figure out cloaking/decloaking stuff but I have only (as almost everyone else) got the ship to decloak. Have you figured it out yet? I have found so many values with cloaking but I can't get around them. I even got cloaking binded to a key but I still couldn't decloak. Well, good luck on the mod and I hope you crack the cloaking device!

Keyser yes indeed it's a major problem we already got 2 people trying to figur it out but no luck so far ( we tryed jammers,mine's, range,power use but nothing worked)
does someone got the phone nummer of Chris Roberts, lets phone him
( he knows it)
our latest effort is to add a button ( in the grapics)
next to dock,go toetc. but so far no luck
if we figur it out it will be on this forum in a minute
