hi guys well it seems my run will be ending for a stint...my service will most likly be shut down for about a week, due to cirumstances beyond my control...and how anyone of you that's playing on my server ALL FREEDOM SYSTEM 2.0BETA4b
im not sure when but it will happen and i'll try to get it back up ASAP..

Rey...is there any way i can get a early copy of the new MOD since i might not be on when u release it? i have been waiting to see what u guys have come up with this time...lol anyhow let me know please it might be faster if you send a reply via my email...

Fixing to start converting the bs to Rey's Mod. I've got a load of pics showig me blowing the stuffing out of entire fleets of rheinland naval forces. I've got the "bad" rheinland capships as part of the Red Hessians The only problem is that the escorts are elite hessians in daggers and stuff... but that all could change in Rey's Mod.

Food for thought:

The original game has a hidden torpedo hardpoint on the starting ship... Interesting, eh?

UPDATE:

BS succsessfully implemented into beta 4b. now to iron out some minor flaws and i'm ready to release to Rey.

ehehehe........ my bad. I put too many missile turrets on the ships, and now they 0wn each other in seconds, not to mention your ship....... More tweaking I guess....

Ok... I sent the files to Rey. I dunno if they'll get in by beta 5, but I hope so. It's alittle rough around the edges, the ships'll crash into the planet, but that's the fun part, right?
Anyhoo, some tips:

I've tested it in a Drago LF and it was pretty good. Not too bad if ya kept yer distance, and kept moving. Don't try anything st00pid. The Rheinlanders hate you and all Liberty, and all Liberty hates the Rheinlanders. Not to phear tho, I made these bad Rheinlanders part of the Red Hessians, so there will be good Rheinland capships in Rheinland eventually. OH! That reminds me, The only place they are, so far, is around Manhatta. Don't be surprised if ya run into a pitched battle as you undock with something around there.

NOTE TO SERVER HOSTS:

This will probably require a player wipe (Don't kill me, please, I, too, have a char on a server that I'll be sorry to see go....) but it MAY not. Looking into it.

NOTE TO PLAYERS:
I need feedback. Don't give me stuff like "WTH Why are they in Manhattan?! I'm getting 0wned!" This is because a. you aren't supposed to attack them in an early ship unless you are /_/b3/2 1337 and b. it's for testing purposes only. I'll be moving them around a lot, probably closer to the sun and jumpgates and stuff. Don' worry, tho, you'll have plenty of friends to help ya...

I'm gonna work on the wepons of the big ships, probably return them to the small beams, since they are AI, and therefore perfect aimers. I'm also gonna try to redo the weapons to use the original wepons for each house, ya know, the Rheinland green wepons, the Liberty blue wepons, etc... only one problem.... the tutorial said that ya can't have Nomad big ships and other big ships, so you may never see the two together...

Anyhoo, gotta go sleep, gotta get up at.....ohhhhh.......4 A.M. tomorrw. Going to Colorado Spring for a vacation I'll try to get some work done up there, as well, but don't expect much, and also don't expect to hear from me 'till I get bak on Monday...... laterz all!

I may be able to help you guys out (reynen & Bob). i have a webserver and i can make you guys a folder that you can use to upload files to share between the two of you. just say so and ill set up the folder nad passwrod and email/pm using the board the info to you.

BETA 5 WILL be released tommrow. I am just finishing up the website to go along with it this time hehe.

It is MUCH much better then 4B and you will notice alot of improvement. I am really happy with the new version. Managed to squash a number of bugs so gameplay should be really fun.

Here's a sneak peak at the website and what is in the new mod.

It's not that great, but i didn't have alot of time to make it all fancy. I will really spice it up when I have alot more time. I just put up basic stuff I needed to right now.

GREAT MOD reynen. hope you are having atleast half as much fun with this as i am and everyone else seems to be. (*goes to wait out the update, and waits for battleship/cruiser/gunboats encounters, shivering at the thought of a three way capship battle, ie: liberty vs rheinland vs me*)

Yes I can wait for it too. You guys have really turned a ok game into something steller.

Will be checking constantly to see if it gets released a little early.

You have another bug, On missions like to save Willard Space Station in SP, You have it set up where the stations can be destroyed. That fine and good, but in the SP mission, the station gets destroyed long before the player can even reach the station. If you want to make the stations destroyable, atleast make it stronger.....a hell of alot stronger than it is now.
