Ironic that everything you mention was planning to be integrated into FL2

NOTE: That'd be the FL2 i was planning, Microsoft is still silent about FL2

I'd just help to make it what it should have been in the first place, bug free and the best space sim out there, something that could be proud to say it was better than ELITE (for those of you who remember that lol)

i still say drop the source code and take the source code from SL
then you can have real fights again and not camperstrike in space
you will have real gamephysics
you can activate/deactivate equipment
you have less lag
and you have much more

Who said anything about not modifying Freelancer source code? It IS good, but it depends on what kind of game you want to make with it. You don't take FL's source code to make civilization 4
