I have seen 2 engines mounted in a mod - rebalance on the firespray and millenium falcon. have a look there

Hi everybody for your help ..
after tests ...
addon = (insert engine code here), (name of second engine Hp) ; (Description)
don't work .. same problem .. and i don't want add since the biginning a second engine , but give the possibility to add one extra .. in this case, the second replace the first .. :-(((((

see:
addon = ge_gf1_engine_01, internal, 1
addon = WARP_01, internal, 1

WARP_01 is my second engine ... who's write into engine.ini ..
see upper ...

hp_type = hp_engine, hp_engine01, hp_engine02...
don't work too ...

or maybe i have do one mistake somewhere ....
i have read Warp info, but apparently the warp engine is give by default ..

as far as i know he uses that extra harpoint... HpGenerator or something, check correct Hp desigantion, that mounts addons in game which the combinable is set to true.

hi ..
my hardpoint is named HpEngine02 into the CMP, maded by UTF editor ...
that's one copy of the original HpEngine01 ...
the new Engine ( WARP_01) is write into engine.ini ...
if i have two hardpoints, i could add one extra engine, but why it overwrite the first ??? maybe must i rewrite the original engine on HpEngine02, and add the addon on the first hardpoint ???

If you want 2 engine flames but want one engine then the line is

addon = (Engine Code Here), HpEngine01, HpEngine03,........., HpEngineXX

This will give you multiple engine flames but only one engine eg You will still go at 79 - 80 m/s at full throttle without cruise engines or thrusters, or warp, or any other kind of additional propulsion.

If thats not what you want then you have permission to slap me around the face with a large wet slippery fish.

huumm .. no.. i don't want ...
i don't need extra exhaust or flame effect ..
just give the possibility to buy one extra engine, only to add one extra cruise speed...
one engine deliver 300 Km/s, i would like add an extra engine to increase the speed in custom at 600 Km/s ..
into the same mod ( my own ... ), some ship could fly at 300 and some other if you buy this option, to 600 ...
i don't want deliver since the biginning this extra engine, but i want player buy this option ..

this might help you with two engines... just don't know it will work...
this is how he did it...

to use this coding you must ask permission to them...

The code above is for adding the extra equipment (secondary shields, energy booster etc that are mounted as shield_generator types) I've spoken to micheal dan already and am gonna make a tutorial for doing this stuff (without having odd bits of equipment hanging off your ship if i can work out whether the crashes were to do with my fix for that or something else...)

Note : The extra equipment mod outlined above is by Knight79

Champs - it occurs to me, have you got 'combinable = true' for both engines? this may help if you have not... I'm in my new home now but have no internet access until a phone line is hooked on so won't be around much unless can skive a few minutes and use the work computer

I didn't think that this could be done without the warp problem but if you can get this to work then you go man.

Hi Anton ..
i'm happy to see you again ...
you ask a good question .. i haven't says for other engine combinable=true ...
i have only write it to my warp engine .... that's maybe my mistake ...
i test it ..
for the rest , i know how to add extra shield, thruster , ... the last think i cannot add easy is this extra engine ..
if you need help or info to write your tutorial, i'm very enjoy to work with you ...

with thoses Hp, you don't see the background windows as an empty shield or an empty thruster
i prefere duplicate HpShield01 or HpThruster01 with UTF editor, and make HpSHield02 and HpThruster02, i could see the background, and if i unmounted them i could see the empty space ..
into my mod every ships come with some empty slot, you need to customize your ship ... more fun ...
but for Engine that's different ...
into Knight mod, they're many good thinks .. but nothing about my problem or as my request .. only extra addon spare part, no warp engine ...

With the extra equipment slots you can add 'new' equipment like secondary power supplies, shield boosters (second shield and/or recharge booster), thrust recharge boosters... it makes for extra bits to aspire to with your ship rather than the standard thrusters etc

I think the combinable = true on both engines will work (may have time to test - have been working on making mission solars fire, with some great success i might add but need someone to test it in MP game cos i have no inet at home for a bit).
