See, I still don't agree, but thats just opinion and everyone's is diferrent. The patriot and Defender are overdone if you ask me, they look like art deco. That doesn't mean I don't like them, I just thing they're overdone. And about the bloodhound, I don't think a ship has to look like junk to look used. Look at the Z-95 Headhunter, it's small,. it's stubby, it bulky, but it still has enough style that you can recognize that it's the predecessor of the X-Wing. Plus it doesn't look like someone went to the junkyard to build it.
And I think ships are part of the experience. When you let people loose on system design, and whathaveya, they get corney. There's no Q&A in the amatuer world, and I think when people get to liberal, it doesn't seem real. We all liked Spaceballs, but It doesn't hold a match to Star Wars. It's funny, but it's not realistic, so the fantasy dies.
And I've been working on getting used to MilkShape, so If someone doesn't start putting out WC ships or some DECENT star wars ships, (other than the old familiar.) I'm gonna do it myself. The only problem I have is with texturing. I'll get a handle on it though.
