Dude i made the model of spikesship but the person who was skinning it because lazy and still has not finished skinning it. So if any one knows how to skin and put it in teh game it would be much aperetiated

[lazymodeHey, has anyone made a new missile launcher model to replace the goofy looking one built into the game? It's always looked like a bullhorn to me. I always thought it would look cooler as a cylinder or long box with the pivot in the center of the length. (Sort of like a modern rocket pod) If no one's made one yet, are there any plans to? Also, has anyone made a different looking turret mod?[/lazymode

What would be even cooler is if you changed the actual missile projectile so it looks like an energy ball...Energy Torpedos are sweet...They can be done...

now the only thing we need is the gun from the zero one and the zero wing the only problem is if you place it on a starflyer the starflyer would be blasted to the othe side of the galaxyn when you fire it bequase the gundams also move backwards if they fired it

That's cool!!!

Have you considered making the actual projectile look much more differently than the old white smoke trail? For example, make it look like the nomad torpedo or something else.

i have created one energy torpedo too....

bishop: remove the DA_archetype and the Material Archetype in your [Munition so your gundam missile won't have a missile icon in your equipment.

this thread will lead you in creating your very own homing lasers....

When you say homing lasers... you mean they actually look like lasers but fire like missiles? See, I want the opposite, I want missiles that fire rapidly like lasers without actually having to keep pressing the fire missile button. That's just annoying. I've been trying to work out a way to make it so that it takes energy to fire these missiles (easily done) so that I can burst off a twenty to thirty missile volley with four or five launchers before having to recharge my energy again, but it's hard to burst off missiles very rapidly when it depends on how fast you can move your finger.

why don't you make it like an ordinary laser weapon with motor and has a lock and seek entries.

or use that reload rate as bishop stated. and the refire rate make it like 8.33 or higher or whatever suits you.

or Ask Wanderer about his homing lasers he actually created one.

or Checkout FightSpace there is a homing lasers there.

or ask Leonhart he has homing lasers too.

I think adding a Seeker entry to the ammunition of a weapon automatically classifies that gun as a missile. I just tested it with the standard guns that come equiped with the Starflier, and though the lasers didn't appear, their effects were noticeable and they did home in. Is there any way to get around this? Because I really want missiles that you can fire rapidly just by holding the fire button.

homing lasers.....

reminds me of the old playstation Omega Boost. fully upgraded it's like 20 lasers coming at you every 2 secs. i ca make a homing laser similar to it but i have no experiance in building ships but it would be cool to hace the omega boost as a freelancer ship.
