rapid, whenever you get a ship list of whatever will be used in the mod, please email it to [email protected]. i can get info about all of them, including weapons, shield strength, hull strength, and anything else you might need.

No need to be too percise about the number of guns and missle hardpoints at this stage, as new weapons will be developed over time. Just make sure you have enough spare hardpoint on your ship for later use. Can't wait until to see the gun boat.

I have got the targeting box centered as much as possible and the ships should be centered at buying screen. Good of you guys point that out, i did overlook it

the wing tip laser is working great just some more tweaking to do, and with this working i think i can attempt to make other wing side laser cannons.

here is a screenshot of a rookie imperial navy pilot testing out his quad linked lasers behind in the shadow of a imperial supply depo while his flag ship is in dock getting resupplied.

All these is part of the ongoing effort of making a SWTC for the freelancer. Although due may legal and technical issue the project is not rolling yet. However, it dose not prevent us from getting some trials done in preperation.

a weapon similar to that of an ion cannon is been developed, and
a wing tip ion cannon that can use used by TIE Defender is also been worked on.

Rapid,

In the event that the Star Wars MOD doesn't succeed, will you be releasing the fighters you've made and showed us here (like the Advanced and the Slave 1) in a pack like the TIE pack???

I won't commit suicide if there is something that isn't EXACTLY like in the movies (unlike some other die-hard, original fact-file collecting, nit-picking twats which I see in other threads on this board).

I just want new ship that looks cool and flies well, like the ones you've allready released.

Dude, lighten up on the insults - that's not cool. If everybody did that then people wouldn't visit this board. Just because people want accuracy doesn't mean they're nerds or nit-picking. If you care about something you want to do it right - if you put you name on something you want it done right. Just because you don't understand that doesn't mean you should insult those who do.

ALERT: x-wing has been modelled by C06alt. i'm thinking it should be used in the mod, after we get his permission, unless of course rapid already has one done.

i also think he would be a good addition to the team, if he's willing to model more ships

Combine Exisiting TIE pack with the Xwing to remove the FLMM conflict.

go to the oldest thread for downaload. Note however, the modified version of TIES are not in this pack. They will be released at the later package.

hey great job on the website, i'm impressed. and i agree with siddous the x-wing would be a good addition. only one thing we need to discover a way to get the guns to stop moving.

I know how to get the guns fixed but its requires us to fix both the ship hard point and the gun connect point. I am just putted in four wing tip guns for the interceptor. The Gun itself if fixed but the firepoint still converges to the targeting curosr.

to fix the gun you have to fix both the weapon hard point and the hpConnect on the weapon. therefore, i had to make a new weapon model to have fixed hpConnect for the wingtip guns.

just wanted to voice my continuing amazement at the talent of some of the modders, the pictures in this thread show that there are some really talented, dedicated people out there who are willing to begin a project and see it through to the end. I have to say i have dabbled with milkshape, but i have no clue as to how one can make a model as good as the ones in this thread

keep up the good work lads, and if you ever decide you'd like to pass on your skills/knowledge to someone else, gimme a shout

Man I have been waiting on a Mellinnium Falcon for a while now and the B5 mod version just don't cut it.
