Crossfire jumpgate crash

Crossfire jumpgate crash

In Crossfire 1.7Is there any way of resolving the blue screen/total computer crash that occurs when you attempt to do the 'Sean Ashcroft' mission and enter the colorado jump gate?
I've used other jump gates from a vanilla FL saved game, and the same happens.
I'd be nice to leave the Liberty system...before the Aliens come and get me...

deactivate the 3d sound and it will work
