Mod Errors

I've downloaded mods for use on the mod manager..But it keeps saying that it requires it be a mod based on a certain file type. I can't get either mod to appear on the list at all.

Welcome to Lancers Reactor,
All mods on this site are in in FLMM.zip format(the format for FLMM) and should unpackage when they are downloaded or when you click on them they should unpack by themself.
If you add them to Program Files\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\"The mod's file" they should show up in FLMM with no problem. (Got to make sure you unzip the file and add the folder.)
A little more info would be nice to have, such as what format is it asking for?What mods are you downloading? Maybe the mod you downloaded is messed up?

Nevermind the previous problems. Opensp does not work. I activated it with no other mods with it, and it did'nt do anything. Activate it with other mods, nada. It does'nt do anything, so either this is a huge error or the guy who made the mod needs to try before releasing a file that does'nt do anything.

If it's the opensp mod u get with FLMM then trust me,it works lol.
I've been using it for nearly 2 years!

Yea OpenSP does work, just in case you don't understand what it is suppose to do, it is suppose to skip the story making your level 38 or higher. Some mods have OpenSP built in so it wouldn't work if that is the case, but it should work if you have no mods on.

nope, you should get almost a kind of "jump" that skips everything, and you just land on manhatten. Try another OpenSP mod instead (there are lots of versions), and if it still doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling FLMM too.

You havent by any chance added the 1.1 patch have you? That will kick you into the storyline irrespective of open SP ..

I have FLMM and whenever I play FL it stuffs up. What do I do?

I run 1.1 (included in QuickFix) and use the OpenSP Lite by Chips, no problems at all, everything works fine ....
