Slightly more decadent Upgrade Advice

I've got some cash to spend on a PC upgrade. Do I spend it on buying a new 19'' second monitor (as my current second monitor is a measly a-bit-less-than-17'')? Or do I upgrade my dual-core CPU to a quad-core?

I need to buy neither but I still want at least one. Decadence FTW.

Will you get that much more speed with the processor upgrade? If yes, I would saygo with it as a slightly larger monitor will only give you a small amount of viewing room upgrade. The processor would benefit all the programs you run.

Erm... what could be more fun than playing SupCom with two 19'' monitors... come to think of it... what could be more fun than playing SupCom. I guess I just answered my own question

Aesthetics are important too...

Two identical modern monitors look much better than two monitors that look like they were created in seperate millenia (and they probably were).
