Getting the Rogues/ Outlaw Ships

I always bought the Dagger before I had to flee Liberty.You should be level 4 when Juni calls and asks you to meet her on Manhatten,if I'm remembering right.Took forever to get white with the Rogues,so it kind of irritated me when Tobias called my hard won Dagger a piece of junk.I had a bunch of damage first time I got there,but when I had no damage it rankled a bit.
As for the rep,I paid the Junker bribe then killed Bounty Hunters.It made Liberty Police white and you had to be careful not to damage your rep by shooting Rogues.Take the hit and run,don't shoot back.The Hunters hated my guts and Liberty Police weren't too fond of me,but I could dock at Buffalo and run Cardimine for a profit.
Its all about trade offs.Having an all neutral rep was really difficult my first few times through.You get better at it though.

Honestly, it doesn't take that long to get the dagger and become neutral to the rogues.
Here is my method:
1) Complete the mission with Ashcroft to get to level 4.
2) Now get a heap of random mission with high pay. Do not worry when Juni calls. Or do trades.
3) When you have at least 60,000+ credits, go oustside and find some bounty hunters.
4) If your rep is really low, kill a heap of bounty hunters that will just reach near the mark of hostility to the bounty hunters.
5) Go to Rochester base and enter the bar.
6) Find a Bribe that is offering to edit the Rogues reputation. Accept it. You may become hostile with the bounty hunters but easy to ware off. You'll still be allies to Liberty so don't worry.
7) Go to Buffalo Base and buy the Dagger ship for 17 grand.
8) Buy other weapons from there too.

The zero amount bribes basically means you are as good as you can get with a bribe. Bribes only take you to +60 rep the rest is up to you. Therefore, if you have a rep that is -60 you are going to be paying a chunk of credits to bribe that faction.
