First person view????!?

For the life of me I can't find how to switch to first person view!!! I can't find it in the manual and I didn't see a key option for it under the settings for controls. As much as I want to play from a first person perspective to really get the "In-flight" feeling.. I CAN'T!!!

Someone please help me!!

if you haven't changed any of the key mappings, <ctrl>-v toggles between 3rd- and 1st-person view

I think I found it by accident, just pushing keys one day. Glad I did, since I like to fly INSIDE my ship ... not hanging on to a rope far behind it as if I'm water skying!
