Sorry, a few generic questions:

1) Are you running a mod?

2) Have you ever managed to complete the storyline before?

3) Have you got the latest version of DirectX installed, and are all your Graphics cards drivers up to date?

I take it that the next level requirement is financial. How much does it say you need, and what happens when your net worth goes up to meet that level? Does nothing happen or does the amount increase? Have you checked your LOG (see the star whilst ingame - top right corner) to see what the last words were - maybe you have to meet someone/go somewhere... (I cannot remember each mission requirement).

You could also try reloading from a slightly earlier time - like after mission 2 - redo mission 3 and see if you can get past it this time. Thats about all for now, if none of the above works or is out of order - I would suggest doing a quick search (see middle top of this screen) - selecting the technical help forum - and look for Mission 4 or MIssion Four.

and don't forget- the $worth needed for next level is an *additional* amount- not *total* worth

You could find it's a corrupt save game,go back to an earlier save and try again.

This is a problem thats getting more & more common,I don't know if its a problem with newer copies of the game,hacked copies or if people have been editting thier save games and making an arse of it.

so long as your next lvl req is a $ money amount that is how much more u need keep playing till it says next lvl req = mission then story will progress
