The problem is probally with your browser. The vids are set to be clicked on to run, the don't run auto with IE6 or IE7

Just for you I took the video's off the front page.
They can still be launched in your default video player or downloaded so that people can still enjoy them.

I consider this a strike back for LR because now i expect that nobody will release any videos anymore
there is simply no reason to create one that is not seen or hidden somewhere

im on a 56k dial up and i never experienced longer waiting times... not with IE and not with firefox

i ask myself what will be the next.... next week some1 will come and say the pics are loading too long... do we take them off too then? (just because the minority here has a browser problem? LR and nobody else are responsible for that... if a page is optimized for IE then you either use IE or you deal with the other browsers problems)

personally i believe that those videos are not different from any other news items and in that way LR should treat them... not different

hmm...knowing you as i do buddy i'm a little shocked at this from you.
actually...i'm pretty much disgusted with it.People work hard on these video's and they put them for show on the front page so we can all see them. you don't have to watch em do you?you just do what i do and scim past em after i've watched them.

I hope people seeing this won't decide not to put video's forward in the future.

BP i emplore you to put the video's back on....last time i checked it was the majority who had the vote on this website...not the minority

right now i ask myself what to... go on submitting movies for mods and games or let it be because they wont get any attention since they are just posted by links (which usually dont get much attention)

I've been working on coding videos for all browsers and I think I've finally figured it out so they won't load when the front page loads.
I've tested it with Maxthon, Advant, Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer and it works ok.

If I've missed testing the code with some browsers post them here and I'll get those browsers and find out how to make videos work with them also...

Yeah, i kind of didn't like the video's on the front page either. The reason being is because it took forever to load them. It would load the objects up the top of the page first and since a video was on the front page, it pretty much took a while to load the video.
