server connection error

for some reason i cant connect to any server's. the game crashes when it tries to connect.

CAn you provide some stats?

OS your running, firewalls, ect?

im running windows xp service pack 2. its got a firewall. i tried ending most of the processes under my username but that didn't work.

what does your ip address look like? if it has numbers and letters you have microsoft tcp/ip version 6 and its on you only need internet protocol tcp/ip. go into area connections then properties and check whats on in the box and if tcp/ip is checked then uncheck it that seems to be your problem it happened to me.
