Looks great, excellent job with site redesign. And it's getting better nearly each day!..

While I'm not a big fan of the changes (I liked the simplicity of the old version better and I think it looks sorta clunky now) I do want to applaude those involved because it's nice to see something finally getting done on the site.

I'm liking the smaller rank badges, the larger ones were.. erm, a bit much (honestly, i prefer none - simply because it encourages spam monkeys!), but lots of folk like em so smaller/more subtle = better in my opinion.

Front page, liking the menu top/bottom borders better now - but whilst aesthetics are nice with making those changes, is some physical changes to the sites code coming eventually? (basically, I hope the looks aren't the only thing that's being upgraded).

Just noticed, with the new background its tough to see the LR copyright when making a post...

... and several things were added but i dont want to announce it atm due to the fact its not official yet


btw.... a little more spam is the best that can happen to this community coz activity here is badly needed... ive alot more activity on my forum than there is on LR atm

well i already told bp that many changes on the forum are required to get things rolling again

ok some of you may already have noticed it ... next to the "active topics" link there is a new small icon

when you clicked on "active topics" you usually got all threads where something has been posted since your last visit but also all sticky threads (no matter if there was a new post)
i considered it a bit annoying always to have to compare the date and time to find out if something new was posted there
so i decided to integrate a new "active topic" script which will only show the threads that really were "active"

I hope that will you to keep the overview here on the forums a little bit


oh btw. there was a major content update on the mainpage this weekend (if you didnt notice yet) and we have a few new forums for new games

I havent noticed that last change yet, but will look again...I really like th new Front Page look
