downloading mods

Well, it seems I have a problem to download mods from this site.Any mod I try to download gets cut after half or two thirds are complete.
I need help on this matter, what is wrong in this?

use a download manager like flashget... that will do the trick

I have 760 Ram...1.4 AMD Duron...I'll try that manager too.
