Help wanted from all kinds of modders for big mod, wanting t
Hello, some of you might know me, some of you might not.
Anyway, i am here to ask for your help in creating a mod. not just any mod, Excelcia: New Light, a role-playing modification for Freelancer.
We need all types of modders, system modders, ship builders, ini editors, etc etc. While some of you never heard of Excelcia, let me give you the low-down.
Excelcia was started awhile ago, even before i joined up with it. Its main goal was to be one of the best Role Playing Mods/Communities in the Freelancer universe. While excelcia was small compared to its bigger cousins, like Level 2 and the soon-to-be-released New Universe and others, it still retained a qualitiy all its own that, if the public knew, would have made it one of the bigger mods out there. Excelcia was centered around both Personal and International Conflcits
, there have been many RP'ed Wars and Manhunts that have happened, however a down point came when a mass amount of people left due to some issues.
I am not here to talk about that, i am here to talk about the future of Freelancer, Excelcia: New Light, it will be based around the original mod of Excelcia, but with alot of changes to make it more player friendly and rp friendly. I think with alot of elbowgrease, we can rebuild excelcia as the community it was, and as the community it can be.
But that cannot happen without you, yes you. The modder, the person with the skill and the expertese.
I don't care if you're already apart of another modding group, such as Starfyre Studios or Frost-works, just so long as you get permission from them to help us. We need you! The modder! The person with the skill! You would be the lifeblood of the mod and the community. You can help create the future of freelancer, the mod to end all mods. This could be the best mod in the whole freelancer community.
But i need help, i can't do it alone.
