I too believe there is serious movie potential in the game. If i recall someone started doing a script for it.

One thing is for certain though, it would need to be made by the fans and not have Paul W S Anderson come in and do it. This is where hollwood go wrong in doing game to film conversions i think. Mortal Kombat (I know, made by Paul Anderson) wasn't too bad, Tomb Raider and Street Fighter were awful although the manga street fighter was pretty good.

Hum, I have been thinking the same thing for a while. But personally, I think it would need to be a computer generation film. No offence to the actors, but the only good si-fi movie I have seen lately that had real actors was I, Robot. (Haven't seen the new Star Wars yet, but I heard it was a helluva time so I probably will go and see it to kill a few hours.) And as for the script, don't you even look at me. I have my hands full with my life and my story.

LOL, I just had a thought. If someone were actually going to spend millions of dollars to make a Freelancer movie, they should let some of the best fanfic writers from TLR creat the script. Under the credits we would see: Written and directed by Neuromancer, Bret Britionian, Killa (LOL), Athena, etc.........

This would be a very awsome movie to make. Wonder who would be Orillion or juni NOW a good Trent actor would be cool wonder who would be King or Cpt Walker?

personally guys i think if Industrial light and magic was involved with Freelancer than it would probably be almost as good or if not better than Starwars ( though there should be alot more ships flying around at once and possibly add in some more lines for Trent because if you've noticed he doesn't say much while he's in Space), I also think that they should probably have Starlancer as like a Prequel to Freelancer just to give the audience an idea of why humans have cononized in the Sirus Quadrant, also as a suggestion Tommy Lee Jones could play as professor Quintaine, but once agian, that's a suggestion. so it probably wounldn't be a good idea and then agian it could, not sure who else could be good to play as Trent or Juni or King.

btw if any of you are thinking that Hayden Christensen (or whatever the guy's name was) could be good as Trent then you should think of somebody else because i heard that he's quitting acting

And by the way, would you think that the Hypergate opening up @ the end of the story line should sound a little like those seismic charges shown in Episode II but with less explosion and a little more of a opening sound.

no sorry, we're just making ideas and such if there WAS going to be a movie made, which by the sounds of everyone, there might be a pretty good chance that will happen and I LIKE IT!!! lol

After I beat the campain, I daydreamed a lot about what a movie for FL would be like. I think it would be cool. The story of the game has the potential to become a pretty good movie. But thing is, it mostly depends on who makes it. I have seen some movies made out of books, and they were terrible. But yeah, if they made it right, it would be nice.

Actually, why not get the voice actors to play the parts? It would still be the same voices, and most of them are fairly unknown anyway, with the exception of Tobias, of course. So they should come rather cheap, ya know?
