You could come in and annihilate me, but that would put you in bad standings with the rest of Sirius. They will believe that Liberty would stop at nothing just to end a few "Robin Hoods of Space". They will think they are next. Technically, you're commiting politicial suicide. I have connections everywhere.

You can continue with your foolish threat on my planet, or you can withdraw. If you withdraw, the Lane Hackers promise not to move any further into Liberty Space.

The latest News From Ouray

The Xenos are now launching an attack on DSE and on Liberty we hope that other factions will join us in this action and help end the technology monopoly.

1 LF is going from Ouray to Pittsburgh to attack
1 LF is going from Ouray to West Point to attack
5 HF and 4 VHF are going from Ouray to attack Norfolk Shipyard
2 VHF and whetever lf's are left at Ouray except 1(this i due to battle pending) are going to attack Boston Station
46 LF and 5 HF from Barrow will attack along with 4 VHF from Ouray are going to attack Providence Station.

Also Pueblo Station is sold to Codename for 50 credits
The Ouray – NY attacks start together then separate upon entry to New York

The Corsairs congratulate this action taken by the Xenos in attacking Liberty. Their overmilitarization must be stopped!

Oh yes, and moving 20 VHF and 10 LF Crete-> Sigma 19. The system is claimed for the Corsairs. For now, Orbital shall be allowed to continue SOME operations in the area. No more new bases and no more new ships guarding your existing bases, though. Zoners, IMG, and Rhineland will be allowed to exit and enter the system and on request build stations in it.

Move all ships except 30 LF from Shikoku into Colorado and challenge TC for the system.

Xenos forces are attacking us right now. We understand we dont have enough forces to defend ourselves. Because of this, I Lord Emperor, headmaster of the DSE, order immediate evcuation of Boston Station in Galileo. All ships regroup as soon as possible at DSE hedquaters at Planet Pittsburgh. Thanks for not involving in this conflict. We are not trying to start a war. Whats going on is only our and Liberty's problem. Even if our forces are weakened, we can handle this. What we, or anyone else, cant handle, is an open war.

The Corsairs are officially declaring war on Liberty, following Samura. We will begin by taking out the orbital spa and cruise operatives, allies of Liberty's, in Sigma 19 if they do not clear out themselves by 1:00 April 1, GMT time. That gives them slightly over an hour.

I am calling off the attack on Naha and moving all but 10 LF to Sigma 19 to engage in this attack. That is: 30 LF, 40 VHF wings. I'd advise you clear out immediately--that means every ship out of the system and every base abandoned. ABANDONED, not destroyed.

To Chancellor DSQrn:

What does DSE know of Corsair motives? Nothing! We have never had any contact with them. To them, we are shadowy figures heard about in the Colony News. You know us much better. The Corsairs are deeply indebted to Rhineland's friendship, for without your protection we could not truly live in Sirius as we are now. I give you my word of honour I will not turn my back on Rhineland. I will not dishonour our friendship, and I will help you against your enemies. Your faction will be placed always equally into consideration with mine, if not ahead. You have nothing to fear from me. ANNOUNCEMENT

As of right now Roc and I have decided to temporarily close down the game, pending ww2jacob's return. Before leaving Jacob hadn't been able to adequately explain the mechanics of the battles to either of us and neither of us feel that we can properly work them out. Until the battles are resolved a number of players will not be able to participate in the game properly. Since this is the case we will suspend all gameplay until Jacob is able to resolve the battles. Do not post any new turns (past turn 4) until given the go-ahead by either one of us or Jacob himself.

Actually, once battle has been declared you cannot retreat. So sorry, but you will have to fight the Xenos at Boston.

Rhienland Colony news Service

Today in the colonies war is on the brink. DSE has pressured Rhienland against aiding the corsairs in armed conflict while the corsairs have been pushing against this. Chancellor DSQrn said that due to the corsairs pirate nature they would not jump to war. If IMG Bretonia or Kuasri go to war against a certian faction then Rhienland will follow. But Rhienland does not wish to enter war, but if there allies do ships and resources may be supplied.
If the Colonies do break out into war Chancellor DSQrn said this
"If Sirius does break into war Rhienlands loyalties will not be for sale. We have stated who we will stand by and who we will Deffend. The protection of Bretonia Kuasri and IMg is vital, we cannot get involved with the corsairs in a millatary way nor can we offer our sympathies and friendship to liberty. Becuase Rhienland cannot risk itself for the sake of others. we wish to fight none."

But with the mass resources getting stocked in Rhienland, if war does get pushed upon us then we will be able to fight back.
