What is a CSV? and since im a smuggler then the kusari police or any police force hostile against me?, cuz they dont know that I smuggle.

Since in Freelancer the game the Hogosha isnt hostile to any police faction or military and vice versa.

My allies are the Corsairs and my Home is Omicron Gamma.

Quoted from the rules at www.freewebs.com/cyofs/newprojects.htm

Small Station- 100 credits/20 Metals/2 HF/10 F/10 O/3 H2O (generate 10 credits per turn)

Large Station- 150 credits/35 Metals/5 HF/25 F/15 O/5 H2O (generate 20 credits per turn)

Can anyone explain this to me? what is HF (Heavy Fighter?), F , O , H20??
I am new to this RPG thing....

Edit: And are the Hogosha a large faction or small?

My allies are the Corsairs and my Home is Omicron Gamma.

HF=H Fuel i think

Oh i see hogosha guy thats your sig could you please not use it again it confuses me a lot
hogosha are small they only have one base at least i think there small

jacob i was going over the IMG bases to work out my income when i found that the Battleship Hood is IMG property does that mean its a base or do i have a battleship?

Ah i see your problem. And yes the Hogosha is kinda small only one base but i like them.
And they are in a perfect place to in the middle of kusari with Sigma 13 on one side and the IMG on the other side.
So if HF is H-fuel than what is F? and H20 (is that water?) i think O has to be Oxygen.

About building bases can i build anywhere? or has it to be linked to the system im in?
And is the Hogosha base a small one or big? im really confused....
Hogosha small faction or big faction?

And what is the difrence between a pirate and a smuggler?

And why do we have to whait for another 8 days to begin?

who....a lot of questions!

And (correct me if im wrong) the Battleship Hood is a base cuz it's so old that it probarly doesn't have functioning engine.

By all means the Hood is a base. It's outdated and ancient...

The Hogosha are a small faction. They only operate inside Kusari. By comparison the Junkers operate in every part of Sirius. Large Factions: GMG, IMG, Zoners, Corsairs, Outcasts, Junkers. That much I know. There might be some others that jacob will consider adding (hint hint Hessians...)

The commodities are: Food (F), Water (W or H20), Oxygen (O), H-Fuel (H-F or HF), and Metals (M). Basic abrreviations.

The difference between pirates and smugglers is (correct me if I'm wrong) that smugglers merely are involved in lucrative trade, whereas pirates will kill off anything in sight--civilians, police, and commercial targets.

Take this as a general rule for large bases: If its a bloody huge asteroid with docking ports and gun turrets, take it for granted that it's a large station (only pirates, revolutionaries, and smugglers have this kind of base). Anything with "Fort" or "Base" in its name is large. If it sells any ships whatsoever, or has a long range of commodities it sells, its probably large.

okey...so when this RPG starts i will controll a small faction and have a large station + getting supplies from the New Tokyo system wich sucks.

I really need to get a faction quicker....

Post Sun Dec 12, 2004 6:33 am

What you do is spread out--make some alliances, start trade deals...and build a few bases. A little hint: Do it quickly, before houses have a chance to crack down on you.

So now, we have 19 active factions, and we should cut it off at 20. Otherwise it gets too big to manage itself.

Post Sun Dec 12, 2004 8:17 am

I have no idea. Probably to wrap up the last rpg.
