OOC: Cardamine if you want you can occupy a base anywhere you want in Hispania.

@ AC: You started a war to wipe us out, were not going to take to your threats. We'll stay on ourside of the border but those commerce stations are staying but as a sign of good will with Liberty I'll keep military forces out and their military facilities can be controlled by Liberty peace keepers. Also Bretonia and Liberty have no alliances with the Outcasts so I'll move against them if I want outside of Rheinland Space. Their policy was in open opposition to my government, I intend to remind them who's the bigger fish.

@ Sisko: Very well, we'll stay out, however we were not going to attack Rheinland itself merely the Outcasts. Also would you be interested in trading complete control of the California System over to Hispania for 4 R. Battleships and 2 R H. Cruisers? Also to be clear, if I go into Rheinland space and leave alone Rheinland and Liberty units once the blockade is withdrawn I'm fine. Also if that is fine, I assume if Rheinland attacks I have the right to respond with lethal force.

Rhineland for now is maintaining a defensive strategy and a defensive strategy only. Corsair and Kusari forces, however, will not be able to move through Rhineland space. If you do, we will assume we are under attack and defend ourselves in that manner.

@ Cardamine: Rhineland will build for you a large base in any of our systems if you ally with us.

Roc- The fighters I gave you were Bretonian fighters. They have had many upgrades that make them far superior to your fighters. It would be better for you to take that into consideration. Check my last turn for the current stats.

To Sisko: sorry I didn't see that. In that case my battlegroup is still in Sigma 13 awaiting orders. I would be willing to agree to stand down for 1 turn if you remove your blockade of Sigma 13. Kusari appreciates your efforts but we are now capable of defending ourselves against the forces who remain hostile to us.

Turn 28

This turn I will:

A. Place 2 large bases, 1 in Dublin, 1 in Sigma 13. Place 5 VHF wings in Sigma 13.

B. Purchase 1 fighter shipyard, 1 battleship, 1 cruiser, and 1 gunboat.

C. Redploy my forces. Battlegroup A in Sigma 13 will have 100 LF wings,
20 HF wings, 30 VHF wings, 7 Gunboats, 14 battleships. Battlegroup B in Honshu will have 31 LF wings, 11 HF wings, 4 gunboats, 1 cruiser, and 3 battleships.

D. If Liberty agrees to remove their blockade, Battlegroup B will immedeately take up position in Sigma 13 and blockade the New Berlin jumpgate.

To Wilde: no one knows what bases you have where. Could you please post a list of bases and their locations next turn.

I think its more that the Hispania-Kusari bloc constitutes the single greatest cap ship killing force in the game (we have a lot of bombers and VHFs and a good size cap ship fleet) and the second greatest (though its by a large margin) fighter killing force in the game. So basically Rheinland would have gotten itself annihalated and we would then be possing a threat to Bretonia and Liberty.

@ Triyun: We must request again. VACATE ALL BASES IN RHINELAND SPACE IMMEDIATELY. You have attacked us without reason, neglected to even post on the forum that you would send help against the overpowering Bretonian and Libertarian fleets, and now it is a royal insult to harvest commodities in our systems. Leave and destroy the bases immediately.

Excuse me, but Rheinland declared war on the Corsairs. You started the war, you sent troops to attack Kusari because they were allied with us. That counts, and I explained my actions with Bretonia and Liberty's invasion so many times before, the only way you can't get it is through an utter lack of an semblance of military and political strategic knowledge. For god sakes, I wouldn't have been able to help in the battles for that turn anyways because I couldn't move towards them having already moved the three systems, and any reinforcements for them to count in a battle have to be posted on the first turn. Remember Jacob said that when you wanted to send reinforcements to the first battle of Sigma 13. How are these concepts so hard for you to get. Delay 1 turn, be in a much better position to assist Rheinland. Declare War that turn, get over run. You declare war on Kusari because they are allied with the Corsairs, we being the Corsairs take that as a sign of war against us, and help the Kusari's counter attack expressing no desire to have territory conquered of our own. I don't see any bad foriegn policy here. It all seems sound and loyal.

AND OBVIOUSLY WE WOULDN'T POST THAT WE'D SEND HELP ON THE FORUMS, WE'D GET ATTACKED IMMEDIATLY AND THE STRATEGIC DELAY WOULD BE WORTHLESS. E-MAIL WAS THERE FOR A REASON, SECRET MESSAGES, EVERY OTHER ALLIANCE USED IT. WE DID TRY AND SEND YOU AN E-MAIL YOU DIDN'T HAVE A WORKING ACCOUNT.

Edit: In retrospect, you could have said you needed to talk to me over email, in which case I would have emailed you asking why and you could have given my your attack plan. Also, when email isn't working on the forum, highlight the email, select "copy" under Edit, go to your email, and paste it there. Then email me.

Edit2: I really did want to stay allied with you and have a fair war against Bretonia and Liberty, but you have to understand it from my point of view--I was about to lose half my fleet, plus 4 systems and a whack of bases. I didn't know you were sending help until afterwards when you said you were going to, and at that point it was too late. @ Rheinland: I'm not withdrawing economic assets, I agreed to Liberty to not have any military forces in system and I'm following that. Any action against those bases and I'll destroy your economic bases in Sigma 13.
