So long as Sigma 13 is protected we will move on. However, Samura has proved time and again to be a threatening and destabilizing force. We intend to continue our campaign to eliminate them. We will also take whatever means nesecarry to defend ourselves and House Hispania from Rheinland. If he does not reduce his millitary in a timely manner we may be forced to reduce it for him.

BTW is the BHG gone for good or is he coming back someday? Since Samura continues to commit criminal actions, I'm sure richardson would have no reservations about hunting them down for the right price.

@ Samura: Gice us back our bases in the Sigma sector (not including the ones that came with the Samura unification) and we'll pull back Kusari from that.

@ Liberty: We propose 300 credits for the planet since it costs a lot for terraforming. Also our loyalists indicate Samura is building new bombers.

LBN Breaking News:

Liberty today has put forth an offer to the remenats of the Corsairs today offering them safe haven in exchange for 300 Credits plus all claims to the Sigma-13 system and its bases. Liberty maintains that the system will fall under liberty control and become the first system not directly connected to Liberty to the Liberty core worlds to become a state within the growing House. Although Liberty Virtually controls the system as it is Liberty asks for House Hispania to releqeish all claims to their bases there turning them over the Liberty instead.

In Exchange for the Sigma-13 system and 300 Credits plus 100 H-Fuel and 100 Metal. Liberty will give Hispania the planet California Minor along with 1 Fighter Shipyard in orbit of Los Angeles and the Baltimore Shipyard in the New York System.

This is Kim Phan-Tau of the Liberty Broadcasting Network...

Unfoturnately House Hispania assets in all of Sigma need to be maintained by us, unless equivalent resources can be given over.

Here's what we lay claim to, these are not old bases, these are merely the ones we constructed while we were in the systems ourselves. All other property would be yours:

2 Large Bases
3 Large Bases in Sigma 19
1 Large Base, 1 Capital Shipyard.

These were what we controlled, Samura has stationed troops on them and it is House Hispania intention that they be returned to us. We have fighter yards elsewhere but no capital shipyards. As per our agreement to relinquish bomber production, obviously we cannot lack these yards. If Liberty wishes's we'll trade the yards for a fighter shipyard and continue with bomber construction instead of capital ship construction. However, in order to maintain some reasonable income and resource level we need those bases back in our possesion. That or the resources to build the equivalent elsewhere and equal metal and h-fuel resources flowing in to off set the difference. Total we require 1350 credits plus the resources to build new ones to give up our claims to these bases. We are also willing to propose an alternative to the Liberty Bretonian Alliance. You control the Tau systems. If you control the Sigma and Omega systems you no longer really need these, since there is a substantial Zoner presence and they are our strong allies, allow us to move our bases to Tau and setup a joint Zoner-Hispania coalition state there as well as in Chugoku and Pass of the Dragon. This proposal would ensure no future tensions between us and the other houses.

Post Tue Nov 30, 2004 12:10 pm

Although I would love to allow this to pass I do not controll any systems within Tau. I would be willing to trade Sigma-13 for 19 but Liberty will maintain control over one of these systems. it is not negotiable.

If you agree to the hand over of bases in one of the systems Liberty will allow you to choose either a Fighter Shipyard or Capital Shipyard from us depending on which system you agree to lose. Liberty Allows you to construct in the California and Magellan systems along with our previous deal of California minor for 300 credits.

TOTAL Liberty Offer:
California Minor
1 Fighter Shipyard in Los Angeles or Baltimore Shipyard in New York
Construction Rights in Magellan (Actually we might just hand over the entire system to you in exchange for Sigma-13 this includes bases we currently have 1 Large Station and 2 Small Stations)
Access to both Civilian and Military Transit within Liberty Space

Liberty Expectations:
Either Sigma-13 or Sigma-19 to include all bases under Corsari/Hispanian controll within these systems
300 Credits
If Choice of Fighter Shipyard no further construction of Capital Class Warships larger than Gunboats (you do not have to decomission your current ships).
If Choice of Capital Shipyard no further construction of Bomber Strike Craft (you will have to decomission half of your current bomber force which Liberty will deduct 100 Credits off of the fee for California minor to achive.

These terms are our final offer.

To all allies: Again, Rhineland apologizes for the misinformation fed to it. Several officials have been fired. Now that the war against the Corsairs has finished, I will downsize my military but only if Kusari promises to stop attacking my closest ally, gunblader. However, if in a case of an attack, Rhineland military will only act defensively and not move into Kusari territory unless absolutely necessary.

@ Wilde: What are you going to do with the ships you are getting rid of to downsize your army? Cause I could take them off your hands....

Talk to Bretonia about the Tau, other than that the deal looks pretty good, on second thought I'll opt for bombers. We'll need your blessing in crushing the vice presidents insurrection if he continues to resist in sigma. I'll relinquish our claim in Sigma 19. We pay the 300 credits and Magellan and rights to build in California are our right. We offer to sell off our cap shipyards in Sigma 17 to Kusari if they wish them at 200 credits.

Don't worry Sisko I was only kidding. I knew I wouldn't get the ships.

Post Tue Nov 30, 2004 2:47 pm

its ok Roc the fleet is being destroyed lol. Tryiun I'll purchase the ships from ya for 200 credits (just give me 100 credits total and I'll include it in the deal) Don't worry about having to retake Sigma-13 Liberty is doing that for you I'm also taking Hamburg right now along with Sigma-19 so your ships in Sigma-17 could be usefull.

-President John Sisko of Liberty

I'm trying to negotiate a settlement with Samura to rejoin us, minimizing your casualties there, so concentrate on Rheinland for now. (AC your getting what you deserve if your going to try and join in a triple alliance with Bretonia and Liberty, we warned you against it) I'm not offering to sell my warships, they'll basically mobile bases, I'm offering to sell off production capabilities, if your interested and Kusari isn't you have a deal.

Post Tue Nov 30, 2004 3:08 pm

oh I read that wrong my bad. you had better come up with something quick that agrees with me or Samura will be wiped out in the Sigma's-13 and 19

oh christ I forgot to make my purchases for the turn. I'll do that in a second. I have to edit the post.

Post Tue Nov 30, 2004 3:39 pm

ok ok OK O...K! Fleet is downsized to that amount. Stop the freakin' attack already!

All forces are withdrawn from the Sigmas and split back to their respective systems. All forces are downsized to this amount with the assurance that we will not be attacked following this downsizing.

@ Sisko: Remember, I am allowed to rebuild my fleet immediately, as stated again in the agreement. You can add the commodities and such to your stores.

Edit: Wow, you guys are pretty bloodthirsty...

I'll be back, but for now.

Fighter wing makes it's run and barely makes it into Destiny system, leaving the outcasts completely alone.

More comm chatter, mostly me telling hispania:

I told you they'd turn on each other.

(OOC: I so saw this coming.)

Communicae to Liberty:

Wise move on your part, perhaps there is a teeny nugget of goodness left in you, not much though.
