Turn 35

This turn I will:

A. Place 1 cruiser and 1 destroyer in the Shikoku System. 1 Train in the New Tokyo System.

B. Purchase 3 fighter shipyards and 2 gunboats.

C. Send 36 Food to the Corsairs.

D. Move 90 LF wings, 15 HF wings, 20 VHF wings, 18 gunboats, 4 cruisers, 2 destroyers, and 10 battleships to the Shikoku System. 41 LF wings, 16 HF wings, 20 VHF wings, 8 gunboats, 3 cruisers, 2 destroyers, and 11 battleships to the Kyushu System. They will attack any enemy forces there once ww2jacob catches up and says we can resume battles.

I was curious so I went back to the very beginning and plugged some of the numbers from Sisko's turns into the turn calculator. It turns out his income numbers have been off from the very first post. The error seems to grow with no connection to base placement for every turn after that. I don't know if this was an honest error on his part or intentional cheating (I hope it was just an error) but he is making more money each turn than his bases and trade agreements can acount for.

Money not accounted for, his ship purchases are within the limits of what his current shipyards could produce until page 30 of the original thread. That turn he built 16 gunboats and 4 cruisers. With his 2 cap. shipyards he could have produced a max. of 8 gunboats and 4 crusiers or any permutation of those ships.
On page 41 he does it again, this time he buys 100 LF wings even though he only has 4 fighter shipyards. Every turn after that if he buys fighters it is a quantity well beyond what he could produce with his fighter shipyards.

I never noticed the error before because I simply never checked. Naturally I assumed his posts were correct, as we usually have to else this RPG turn into an endless accounting battle. But when Libery started producing 300 LF wings every turn it caught my attention. Hopefully ww2jacob will resolve this soon if Sisko can't come up with an explanation. In the mean time I suggest that everyone else go back and check their own posts and make sure any "number massageing" you have been doing is resolved.

2. I build 2 trains. Unresolved researches:

3. Offer of peace with Bretonia still in place. No similar offer is in place with Liberty or ever will be in future.

4. Pending victory in Frankfurt, all forces in the system will proceed to New Berlin and fight Bretonia and Liberty there if any of their forces still remain. Pending victory in New Berlin and Frankfurt, all forces in both systems will proceed to Hamburg and kill off the remaining Liberty troops. I trust that if we go down to defeat at New Berlin, help from Hispania will come to us.

I am officially lowering all your LF values to 5 and locking them there.
All other values that have been increased over 5 had better be back down by tommorow or they will all be lowered and locked as well.

ww2jacob has a point. This RPG is on the verge of outliving its time. As of now Kusari cancels all attacks and calls upon The rest of the factions to do the same.

Sorry! I thought the rule meant something completely different. Let me get this straight--each attribute of every ship can be researched successfully 5 times until it reaches it's max?

But don't bring it down to 5, I've researched all those points already.
Original LF: 2 FA, 3 CA, 1 FD, 2 CD

I've researched the CA and CD each 5 times successfully, and the FA and FD 3 and 4 times, respectively. This is what the actual stats are then: Rheinland LF- 5 FA, 8 CA, 5 FD, 7 CD. The FA can be researched for 2 more points and the FD for 1.
In this case, my researches are:
a) LF FA x3
b) LF FD x2

We halt ALL attacks on Rheinland and Kusari. You guys can keep fighting, but I don't have the time for all this anymore. Starting on Christmas break, I will have plenty of time to play and organize #3.

With Crete and Sigma now reconquered and back in our possesion we halt attacks on Bretonia. I'll halt hostilities with Liberty as soon as we get back our California holdings. I agree though with the 5 point research total, otherwise the only unit there would be a reason to purchase is LF's I think Rheinland should get 5 points for that and then allocate the rest it researched into other things.

OOC: I propose since Jacob is busy, instead of statistics base we just choose our own damage and do a traditional space battle setup.

Like:

Wilde: 3 R. Battleships fire on the Kusari Battleship
VD: The K. Battleship is disabled but not before it gets off a volley at one of the enemy battleship.

That sort, its quicker and it can incorporate tactics. We'll setup a council to determine if someone is cheating. Consider statistics just a guideline on how effective a unit is against another.

Thanks Jacob. I'll try and go through the rules a little more slowly this time. Now that that's all settled up, the actual LFs I have aren't all that different from the ones I had beforehand--only a 1 or 2 point variation. Which means the Liberty fleet is still arse buggered.

Wow, that makes a HUGE amount of sense Triyun. We don't need the long complicated battles, we can just use the strategy-and-tactics system from 1.0, incorporating in force size and fleet power. In which case...

Rhineland strategy for New Berlin:
A "wall" of Fighter Wings will be formed, blocking Liberty's view of the capital ships. The capital ships themselves will be hidden several sectors from where the battle will initially take place. The fighters will fly agressively, launch a platoon of mines and missiles and then activate cruise engines and head towards the capital ship fleet. As soon as the capital ships are reached, the wall formation will be reformed 3/4s of this force will engage enemy fighters while the other 1/4 will head towards the capital ships launching torpedoes and missiles as they go. A small force of 10 LF wings or so will remain around the capital ships, engaging all torpedoes and fighters that come near them.

Rhineland strategy for Frankfurt: All fighters rush into battle offensively and agressively, launching mines and missiles and shooting down enemy fighters. Fire will be split evenly between the fighter force and the capital ships. Gunboats and cruisers will hang in the midground, never showing engines to the Liberty ships.

Rhineland strategy for Hamburg: 100 LF wings + 3 bomber wings to take down battleships, cruisers and gunboats while the remaining 52 LF wings + the gunboat focus on the fighters.

we could do it with ww2jacob and the other person in real-time and MSN battles with jacob holding the cards

Sorry I've been gone guys my unit is getting deployed to Cuba as most of you all know and I have training this weekend and most of next week. I recall all forces back to prewar borders. since no actual combat has taken place no stations and ships have been harmed by Liberty forces and likewise with our former enemies on us.

I was mearly reacting to my Allie who launched an offensive and told me to do the same. As he has defended and supported me without consultation on my part I have done the same. I will be posting 3 days worth of turns (which I missed) tomorrow in one large single day turn. if this RPG lasts longer then the week I will return if it does not then Jacob has command of liberty until my return.
