Work on the Idun Shield Generator has been completed on Los Angelas. This technology is available to all factions of Sirius, and has been built for the good of humanity.

Using counter-annhilation and disruption signatures, the Idun Shield is capable of deactivating incoming missiles and lasers bursts, essentially rendering the user invincible. Due to ionic radiation and jump residue, it is impossible to mount an Idun Shield on a starship, but we believe that it may prevent innocent civilians being lost to orbital bombardment.

The shield was deliberately programmed to ignore starship signatures, as not doing so would prevent the landing of friendly ships. Therefore, it is still possible to land or take off from a hostile station or planet while an Idun Shield is in operation, just not blast the planet or station into oblivion without actually landing.

THE SHORT VERSION:
The Idun Shield is (ooc) actually a tool for making battles for planets and stations a bit more interesting; if the planet or station has such a shield in place, its actually important to invade the planet or board the station, has opposed to simply blowing it apart with an orbital bombardment.

Please remember, all the technologies used and/or developed by Ageira are available to all factions. That means that anyone is free to use a Hermes Cannon, Mercury Star Drive, or Idun Shield in there tactics.

Moving on...

Work on Marathon Station is complete! All employees on Planet Manhattan are now in the middle of their voyage across the galaxy to the New Columbia system.

Ageira Bases Fortified! Ageira is proud to announce that Detroit Munitions, Marathon Station, and Styx Station have all been equipped with Idun Shield Generators, making it impossible to capture or destroy any of the three without an infantry assault.

And finally, some more role-playing.

Security Office, Deck 4, Marathon Station, New Columbia System.

Henry Gairns sipped his coffee, trying to stay awake as he watched the inventories scrolling by. He had been assigned to ensure that the labs on Deck 4 were suitably equipped, one of the most boring tasks a guard could be issued.

Something caught his eye. That, right there... that readout looked strange...

He scanned it. "Holy... what would they need THAT for?"

He looked up at the control panel, then back at the screen. Finally, he announced, "Computer, cross-reference equipment in Lab Delta, Deck 4 with projects currently in operation by Ageira Technologies."

There was a hum as the computer did its work, before it responded, "No matches found."

"No matches? Computer, cross-reference equipment in Lab Delta, Deck-4 with projects completed or cancelled by Ageira Technologies."

"Running.... One match found."

The readout in front of him displayed a single file, labeled "Promotheus".

"Computer, open file, Promotheus."

"Access Denied. Information on the Promotheus Project is available only to the executive and to project head Doctor William Larrings."

"Computer, this is Security Officer Henry Gairns. Iniate protocol 517. The information in file Promotheus has been deemed as vital to current station security activity. Open file IMMEDIATELY."

"Understood. Iniating protocol 517. Alerting general station to potential security threat. Opening file."

Gairns stared at the writing on his readout. It couldn't be... this was impossible...

"Oh, no..."

darnit what systems do the corsairs own, fer freaking jeebuss's sake??? ggaaaaahh!!!! we'll attack whatever system, omicron or omega, that DSQrn isn't attacking. And seeing that there have not been offers of help from other members of the axis, we will delay the battle in order to double the original production.

to omega chief: consider this: this rpg has very limited rules, therefore you were able to "find" a recording proving that Rheinland and Liberty sabotaged Bretonia without the approval of any higher authority and with DSQrn or Captain Picard posting that they had sabotaged the ship. If the general consensus of the players on this rpg is that I exceeded my personal power to affect the flow of the story, then ignore the post by all means. Otherwise leave it alone.

Another package of Super Fuel is transfered to the members of the axis, along with the completed shield technology that I posted about a few pages back.

No DS, Omicron 5 is NOT a real system. Omega-5 is. If you attack Omega-11, then you automatically get it, because its owned by the Hessians.

We would personally like to thank you for returning Bretonian systems to our rule. Many lives have been saved from these actions. We also thank you for the jump hole destabilizer technology.

We are upset at the news of the Leeds system due to the recent conflict and use of bio weapon technology. At the time of the use of the weapon, we were enemies and as such i do not hold any responsibilty on Rheinland for its use. No one could have forseen the outcome of Leeds.

We here at Bretonia see the Hispanic Alliance as a friend and we would like to offer our hand in friendship. While some of the acts caused on both sides have been barbaric to say the least, Bretonia can no longer see you as terrorist organization, but a house in its own right as we do Rheinland, Liberty and Kusari.

We will however not remove our hand from the friendship we hold in high regard with the Axis which leaves us in a rather strained position. While we can't give you military aid, like we will not do with the Axis, the expansion of the Bretonian empire into uncharted space will hopefully leave us with many systems in which to relocate the Leeds residents. Now, in return for the destabilizer technology, return of bretonian systems and civilians, we will allow you a system in Bretonian space to move any innocents that may be harmed in your conflict with the axis once we find one suitable for life and is terraformed. Military presence will be provided by us. For the sake of your citizens, no Hispanic military can be present as this will only invite conflict. The cost of terraforming will be covered by us.

We pride ourselves on our compassion and want nothing more than innocent lives that will be caught in this war saved.

Please, if there is anything you would like to discuss with us, our ears are open.

Okay then, Omega Chief, can you confirm that this is NOT your system for us please?

Once we get his confirmation, then you will be the new and rightful owner of the Omega-11 system. No battles, your fleets just move in, and take it over.

Oh, and according to Outcast's post, no one owns Omegas 5 and 11, the Corsairs own 3, 7, and 41. I know it's out of date, but I never noticed Hispania move in...

In that case, I will move into Omega-5, and Wilde can attack Omega-7. After my Omega-3 battle, then I will move in, and help him.

My plan for the Omega-3 battle:
First salvo- My fighters stay back, all cap ships unleash pure destruction on the Corsair force.
Second- Fighters remain back, cruisers move up to protect against any fighter attacks. Fighters move up if needed. Cap ships fire.
Third- Only if needed. Fighters engage whatever's left, Warships help mop up.
There you go. Should be a quick, simple, and sweet battle.

o and btw cap ships cannot enter o5 because of the asteroids
they wont be able to move and if they do try they will probably paralize themsleves trying to move around and then fighters will take them out.

HSF has sent 1500 sentinels
800testudos
and 800 spartans to omega 5 and the remainder of the fleeit is around the neutron star in omega 41

Yes we own omegas 3,5,7 and 41 omega 11 was left to the hessians we did plan to invade it but the axis was formed and i had to rethink my ideas

General Order to all Shipping Wings:

Under no circumstances is an Ageira craft to iniate combat with a House-operated ship. However, in the event that a House member fires on an Ageira ship, you are authorized to return fire.

Note: All Ageira trade ships have been equipped with Mercury Star Drives (in other words, we can go pretty much anywehre we want and ignore blockades; you want to shoot at us, go ahead, but you're the only one who'll lose out)

"You're absolutely CERTAIN that Larings has restarted the project, officer?"

"Yes, sir. He's activated defense systems on the lab and somehow countermanded all my security overrides. There's no way in or out without his permission."

"This is... unfortunate..."

"Unfortunate? Sir, from what I read in his file Larings' wife and children died at the Battle of Leeds! The man would have only one motivation to start up an operation as insane as Promotheus again, and that would be to stop this war by force."

"Stopping the war would be a good thing, officer."

"Yes, but I didn't exactly see any negotiating applications on that project report. What I did see was something to the effect of "bringing Ageira up to the level of the four Houses." I didn't like the sound of Larings being as powerful as an entire House on his own much."

"You're sure there's no way in?"

"I tried everything, sir."

"Then we'll have to wait until he leaves. With any luck, we'll be able to capture him before he can do any lasting damage."

"Done, sir."

"And Gairns?"

"Yes, sir?"

"This is a secret. Make sure nobody finds out about the Promotheus Project.

"Yes, sir."

Notice: I'll be unveiling the secrets of the Promotheus Project soon, either on Christmas Day or when one of you correctly guesses what the project is, whichever comes first.

Rhienland Wants to here response for the porposles at the Homburg Summit!
Rhienland had proposed three things, 1 freetrade between axis houses 2 all of the reashearch for new things is done together and shared. 3 a relief fund for shattered houses in the war.

Rhienland Phases? Rumors Abuzz:
Rumors are flying about Rhienland building a phase device so that big ships can get through asteriod fields, although they would not be able to fight in them. Rhienland Denies all rumors about the phases, but says if they could figure out to do it they would. Officals say that "Rhienland needs to advance and if we can do this we will, but right now we can't"
