Milkshape crash with cmp importer

I installed milkshape to model for freelancer. I tried it before for half life. When I start Milkshape with the msCMPImporter.dll in the milkshape dictionary it crash with no reason for it. I only can send a report to windows.

( I have version 1.7.9 Is it to new ?)

That's because it a buggy plugin, if you go to your milkshape folder (usually at - C:\Program Files\MilkShape 3D 1.7.9) and look for a file called "buggyplugins.txt", open it with notepad and add msCMPImporter.dll to the list, save it and you should get MS3D to work now.
