well, you can use the CMP importer for milkshape to get both the model and the texture at once (only way to get the model AFAIK), or if you just want the texture, you can use the UTF editor and export the texture from the MAT file.

sorry to be a pain - but when i copied the dll into into my Milkshape folder (1.7.7a) - milkshape wont start :s - when i remove it it will

i noticed on the download link that it says it has to be upgraded to 1.01 - when i found this file on the website its the one that says it needs to be compiled with C++ Builder, which I dont have :s

thank you for any help

the cmp importer doesn't work for milkshape 1.77 and we still don't know why. Try Milkshape 1.74.

ok cool - i will

And for some people (like me) it doesn't like the cmp exporter being enabled at the same time, either. If that's the case for you as well, just add .bak to the importer or exporter depending on which you want to use at the time.
